  1. It's really quite sad. They just got it so so wrong. They can't exactly get rid of it now. They could just open it up as a free access area, but there not making money off that. Upgrade the rest of the upper holte to be self-serve auto in out and they make some of the money back in speed of service and selling more. But then TTV area becomes even less appealing. I just don't know what they're thinking.
  2. Unless she wants to protect her reputation also. Fake accusers get as much abuse as rapists... unlikely and I don't think so but its a possible. The whole situation is messed up. How you can go from threatening someone with court over rape, to marrying them and having their child... Surely there's two answers (and money isn't one of them) She's been brainwashed by his abuse and now has no self functioning brain, or she's crazy and staged the situation and Greenwood had to take her back because she was going to ruin his life if he didn't. One of them is a controlling psycho, and my money would be on Greenwood. Admitting he made mistakes (was that making the mistake of letting yourself be recorded breaking the law?) is the give away. A half confession that is vague and doesn't land you in shit. Scumbag player. Scumbag club.
  3. The random pattern generator on that Norwich shirt is so random its actually different on every kit?! How does that even work? Surely a "kit" has to be the same for every player?
  4. Up to 35k now... original tweet below
  5. Great to see him so happy with the goal. Let's hope he (and Stockport) go on a bit of run from here.
  6. Although if it was West Ham we could probably safely assume we were never interested in him.
  7. I'm amazed they made a profit last season, but then i had forgot they made 19m off Lewis-Potter. If they add JPB and Davis I'd back then to get promotion this season.
  8. I think JPB is 5m... no indication what the fee is for Davis.
  9. Hull have some wealthy owners, but not sure how they're complying with the sustainability rules of the EFL with all the signings they've made over the last couple of years. I assume Davis would be about 5m like JPB? That's a big chunk alongside what they've already spent recently.
  10. Especially so, as I believe he has two years left on his contract anyway
  11. So he got punched in the face whilst not trying to score a goal? He slammed his shin into the post whilst not trying to reach a ball and turn it goal wards. He was wasteful with possession but this is the most ridiculous criticism to level at him. The penalty taking probably got taken away from him after missing his last 2.
  12. On the topic of them charging the same for North Stand as the other better stands, I assume the intention is that the prices will now be set at a stadium wide level in future. I.e. when the new North stand is finished, we won't see prices hiked there beyond whatever is the price in the rest of the stadium? Suspect they won't want to discuss this at this point but might go some way to justifying what they're doing at the moment.
  13. What a performance. Set the example, started the rout and who's to say Everton wouldn't have made a game of it if he hadn't worked them into the ground from the first minute, then scored to hammer home the "you're going home with 0 points" message. Immense from the wee man. Hope he can show Hibs the same sort of performance in the week
  14. Sure does. No longer negative GD makes a big psychological difference to right that wrong at the first time of asking.
  15. This makes for some pretty grim reading in the context of everything else the club is doing right. They had not very much time after the concerts finished to get this done. So they've rushed it (or rushed the cleaning up part at the end), and the contractors building it have been at the expense of putting in the fast serve facilities that exist in the lower holte. They rushed through their planning of ticket sales for it, leaving people with little idea of what they're actually paying for. There's some pretty bad brains behind this, whoever they were
  16. You might be right. Thinking back after unwinding, the ref was mostly unnoticeable, which is actually probably a good indicator that they weren't bad. Nothing particularly stands out to me one way or the other. And by current PL standards, I wouldn't be surprised if that was one of the best performances we'll see this season. Ah well, I'll stand by my poor and hope that we do see some better performances... but won't be holding my breath. Newcastle ref + VAR was definitely MILES worse.
  17. Really? It was poor. Injuries happened to our players because Everton had been allowed to make repeated niggly fouls without getting booked. Then he books Archer for basically being ran into by the Everton player. There was one other very soft yellows he gave us too. It wasn't the worst reffing performance we'll see this season for sure, but we can thank Everton for being rubbish that the poor decisions didn't have more of an impact on the scoreline. Sadly, it saw Coutinho get pushed in the back and now he's injured for months.
  18. A sign of how bad Everton were and probably true. I can think of some games last season where we were better and lost. I was expecting a comfortable win, given the competence of Everton, and the reaction I thought Emery would get from the players. That's not too undermine the result, a 4-0 win is a great result in the Premier league, and although the performance wasn't vintage it was very effective. Now to make that goal difference positive and to see the start of this seasons first winning streak in midweek.
  19. The circumstances were forced, but they're the kind of thing that occur in the game at full intensity in the PL. If this was a one off I'd give it you, but it's not.
  20. Shame for Coutinho but it's clear he's finished at the top level. His body can't cope with the intensity of a proper game. The ability is still there, but that's not enough. Felt this was the most likely way it would go, was really hoping it wouldn't though.
  21. Archer looking pissed. Can't say I blame him. Should have been him instead of Duran with that chance.
  22. Watkins is definitely not playing his best at the moment. At least the rest of the team seem capable of scoring at the moment
