Highbury was notorious for being a library. The new ground is barely any different. Man City had barely any fans at Maine Road, but the atmosphere was better as the ones that were there were all genuine fans and the ground wasn't massively overstuffed oversized. I think we'd be in the boat where the atmosphere stays roughly the same.

Given the news reports above (which could well just be piggy backing off this dude), it suggests they're a genuine ITK.

Do they not see the shambolic conditions that he complains about as something more to be upset with? The talent they potentially have should be performing better than it is, can they see that its not the players' fault? Obviously understand the view that you should be grateful to play for your country, but the JFF aren't exactly making it easy for their players.

Does that make them more legit and legal than our current sponsors?

I dont think the stat was meant to reflect badly on Emi. Showing he's up there with our best shot stoppers in respect of one stat, and just a bit of general trivia. We all know he's probably better than nearly all of them for most attributes, although could never prove it. For one on one's I'd not rather have any other keeper in our history, including Schmeichel. For general shot stopping him and Schmeichel probably not much in it. Penalties I'd say him and Bosnich probably not much in it. Then you have his ability on the ball which we've never needed to see from our other keepers, although I imagine Schmeichel would have been more than competent at that if needed. I'd say command of the area on crosses is the one area he could be beaten on by a couple of our past keepers, but overall I wouldn't have anyone else from my knowledge of our history over him.

I'm shocked Enck and Sorenson made the list. I don't recall them being good (Sorenson obviously not bad), but maybe more to do with how the team around them was performing at the time. Sorenson more of shock for how many games he played maintaining that level. Emi did have a season with us fighting relegation so I'm sure his average has been getting continously better, and hopefully will continue to.

You joke but it's quite clear a significant proportion of the villa going public don't understand how, don't know they need, or (as per OBE) simply don't want, to use a mobile wallet for their ticket. If we assume those on this board are more likely than the average to use a phone wallet, then, and one of our isn't, then the 40k going to the game will present thousands that won't be doing it for one reason or another. It was also the first game they had stopped screenshots from emails working so will no doubt have added a lot of delays as people then would have had classic Villa Park signal to contend with to get the original ticket back up on their phone. Fixing the small things should include providing signal/wifi at the whole ground, not just the GA+ seats. As the Holte End expected it would when surveyed.

Diaby looking good, helped change the game. Feels like a fair result but what a crazy game.

And just like that I'm back in. Less of a handball than the one we didn't get a penalty for but whatever.

He's trying to play a through ball between the defenders. Zoom lens makes it look like the balls just going out, but if it goes past the villa player running on picks it up at the byline in a dangerous position.

There was a VAR check. Commentators on my stream thought they'd got lucky with the decision.

Going to be the new tactic to avoid conceding a pen. Point at an arbitrary spot on the area as a player comes down the wing. Joke joke joke

Yeah, exactly what I'm thinking. Rotation if nothing else, but those three have all been pretty poor and Digne, Diaby deserve the game time based on recent form.

Joke of a VAR decision but what do you expect with the incompetence and corruption in place at the FA. Rogers seems to be a player that is going to have every 50:50 decision go against him. Commits a tackle in their half and concedes a free kick for it. Gets the same tackle against him in our half, but no free kick. Moments later they score from having the ball in our half when they shouldn't.

That site next to Curzon st isn't big enough. It has less footprint than our current site, and water ways that would make it tricky to modify. If we include the patch of land below it, then it becomes big enough, but then it has a water way cutting through it. Not to mention its pretty much in small heath

I think it says more about the incompetence of the officials. It took me 3 seconds to realise it was a foul, and then maybe another minute to think he didn't make any attempt to play the ball and stopped the player from having a shot in the penalty area that could have been a goal, so by the rules it's a red card. There's some subjectivity to the decision so instantaneous isn't expected, but I'v not a clue why it took then 5.5 minutes.

I was thinking the same. Looked very clumsy and trigger happy but wayward on arrival. He got game time and now looks a very dangerous PL forward. The potential is definitely there with Duran

Not great semi final though. Home first again, and a horrible away second leg

I'll take that. Would prefer to have been away first but it's at least a short trip

Shes happy to clarify her comments, but she hasn't clarified them. If that isn't what she meant, what else did she mean? Hmm...

Good chance to get him out of the England games, although I'd imagine he wouldn't want to drop out of them. On the plus side, even if he does go Southgate will just use Kane for most of the two games and he'll probably split the rest of the time between Watkins and Toney so not many minutes for him anyway.
-
Rogers has one hell of a strike on him. No stopping his shots, if only they were on target a bit more.
