Softest booking for Luiz. Thanks you shit ref that had no control, let everything go against us in the first half then called everything for them in the second. Absolute awful game, should never concede three. 4th still ours to lose but why do we have to make it so fecking hard for ourselves.

Not really. We've lost far less points from winning positions than other teams.

Unbelievable. You just don't expect an Emery team to capitulate like that. That's totally shambolic.

Imagine positing a meltdown about United winning and then not coming back here to get thrilled about them throwing it away. It can't be much fun only posting negative views all the time, why do it? The race for the champions league has never included United, despite the media's attempts to claim otherwise. It involves us, Spurs, and potentially our uefa co-efficient. That's it.

Truly weird. Like he was congratulating him on his hattrick. Don't think the most biased ref in the world in our favour would have changed the outcome of this game, but still hardly professional. If we can avoid conceding again I'll be happy.

@tomav84 I was thinking the same thing. A squad illness would explain a lot. And if the option is name noone or a player that's got the shits on the bench then the latter will win. Imodium then up and hope they last 45 minutes if needed at half time.

Pep motivation tactic. Surely will come off the bench to score. Let's hope it's them chasing the game 3-0 down and getting desperate though. Hey, I can dream.

Hmm...I do hope you meant their . It would be one of the longest cons ever if you were really a closet Man City fan.

The unthinkable happened, although in arguably the most perfect game for it to happen for. Hopefully we're going to be careful and not rush him back as a longer term injury is truly something we couldn't cope with.
-
Him or Zaniolo. Emery has said about both of them that they can play the striker role and give us some flexibility in that position if needed. Duran has got an opportunity to start his legacy here against Man City, and if he saw the reaction JPA got when he was shown on the screen he'll hopefully want to take it.

This ref is useless and has been since given the role in the PL. Needs to be sent back down the leagues as he's too weak at this level and just rewards whoever shouts loudest.
-
Another good performance from him. That's two in a row now. If he gives us another one then I might start changing my mind, but I'm still on the return him side of the fence. Hopefully he keeps this up till the end of the season.

Agreed. Aside from the obvious colour balance issue of yellow on blue, the positioning seems forced and unbalanced. I moaned about it when first revealed but almost given up caring. I assume that was Heck's plan when he realised the backlash against it. Go radio silent and hope people forget... and in fairness its kind of worked.

Yellow lion on blue badge destroys all those kits. I'll be so upset if we end up back with that atrocious travesty of design as our badge again.

I'd guess it's a stop gap until that happens. No way that's happening overnight, so even if it does go ahead this will help massively in the interim.

Good minutes for Italy. Will help his fitness. He seems to have proven himself over his injury at least lately. I wonder if he'll ever get the ability back that is so clearly there. Those comments from him suggest he accepts he's in a learning curve for Emery ball and maybe there is yet a slim chance he'll click with us before the end of the season. I certainly don't expect it to, but there's a little bit of hope there. Before that I'd written him off totally.

Agreed. It's a really bland nothing of a shirt. The only thing that makes me know its Germany is their 4 stars. Had a training kit kind of feel to it. Or a Sunday league generic template kit.

Cheltenham is right, the media have Always and forever been like this. Southgate clearly ignores the media, so this won't affect his thinking. His stubbornness is usually a fault, but probably not on this occasion. That said, I think he'll take Toney. His England don't play to Watkins many strengths, so Toney is the better option. And as a result, we will repeat his failings of previous tournaments.

I would have felt this way if Southgate hadn't completely destroyed any care for England that I once had.
