  1. I think we should proceed with Tammy talk for rest of the day, show VT Tammy is abroad but not forgotten
  2. Had to look more than twice at this thinking you meant Vic Beckingham
  3. Nope wrong name for this Thread. Nick i think we need to talk about Tammy more if this kind of thinking is happening around here.
  4. Comes in and grabs goal of the month, ace..
  5. Think we need a formation change without Buendia. We need a stronger presence in midfield and have Watkins and Ings play up top with one of those two dropping in midfield to support midfield. I think possibly a 4-4-2 or 3-5-2 will be what we go with. If we use Watkins as a pressure player and we all know what he did to Chelsea last season.
  6. I can just see Leon being so explosive for us that he will catch this league off guard. The guy is creative at extreme speeds and it's tough to find that for the price we paid for him. In reality I am very shocked still that his previous club let him go for as cheap that did,but I'm delighted they did. If were on the counter and we have yard to run, he's certainly going to be the one you want to give the ball to which may make him a target and he may draw multiple players to try shut him out of the game. Thing is I've seen him on screen, where he can take on two or even three players and expose the tight gaps and enclosed spaces that opponents think they have him boxed him into. Leon is not a player to be messed about with hes Dangerous. I read something stating Baileys stats for Leverkusen when he were 23 year old were better than what Grealish stats with us when he were 23 the same age as Leon. If so and it's TRUE that's very frightening in how capable he is and once he's playing and making his mark, we won't even notice Grealish is not around anymore.
  7. He used to complain to the refs when took down, but now Jack looks like a red hot drunk complainer who's always riled up and ready to fight you lol. Jack was given a rating of 5 by sky sports, don't ever recall him getting that while playing for Villa. That Video just makes him look so stuck up now and temperamental.. I don't like this Jack with an Ego..
  8. Makes you wonder what the difference is in it all right?? Jack Grealish of aston Villa kicked ass and regular each season and was denied season upon season and publicly told to move on from Villa by Southgate. Grealish is denied being played by Southgate while at Aston Villa and possibly only ever played because of fan and media attention giving Southgate bad press. Was even brought on for England and subbed off making his appearance very embarrassing. Jack Grealish is bought by Manchester City for 100 million, plays an odd good game and is immediately brought into the England lineup and not even subbed off. It's a Joke and a farce and something obviously stinks between the regular lot at the top of the premier and the England manager, who will help prize stars from there clubs if enough pressure is applied. I mean yeah we got 100 mill from it all and I'm good because so far we certainly got our cream from the deal, but something is going on, it all just smells off to me. Seems the higher you go the more games are played and the more corrupt football gets.
  9. The story I think if Jack Grealish flops at City would be something similar to this: The rise of Jack Grealish at Aston Villa made to feel he had to move by an England manager (Ex Villa player). For seasons Southgate kept telling Grealish an already star at Villa that he had to join a top 4 club in order to get International caps and minutes. Jack Grealish joins Manchester City for 100 million puts in a few good performances, he never truly hit his stride like he did for his Villans, where he wreaked havoc on the pitch at a constant rate. Truth of this story is he was good enough to be played at the Euros by Southgate and was constantly denied. Why was this pressure added to the player and he was made to feel he had to switch clubs in order to get game time at International level. Jack Grealish traded it all in, more importantly his career since he did better at Villa than City, as he was already a star on the rise at Villa. However he has not been played right at City and they don't know how to get the best out of him like Smith did with Jack at Villa. Was Jack Grealish a mistake signing and a very expensive one at 100 million?? Time will tell!!
  10. I don't think he will, I think he will utilise him in a different way and then will he actually look better on the pitch again like he did for us or will he just end up rotting and silently regretting his move. Maybe he's already regretting his choice and its affecting his ability to play. One thing you can say is he was always the top dog at Villa and now he's not at City and won't ever be because theres so many world classers there. Let's face it Jack was improving all the time under Smith, so was it really the right decision for him to leave especially if he looks average at times like many of us said may happen once he went there. He's obviously recently let the media get to him, so when your not playing with a clear head, if things are on his mind he will just struggle to perform. I dont think he will ever perform at City like he did for us anyway. Look how much he had the ball, how many opportunities he had, it was all this feet for us. He was the man that made the magic happen, not anywhere near that will happen at City for Jack I'm afraid.
  11. Good, because he's not a Villa player any longer and its no concern to me how he does any longer and I hope he drags City down somehow in some way and they don't win shit this season lol.
  12. I think the Owners realise theres much Growth to do here and if they can position themselves at the front of it all, there is certainly recognition to the Owners that are noticed making the womens game stronger. The womens game will be really big eventually, it's a matter of time. Imagine them winning the league title wouldn't that be something for the Owners, club, Staff and of course players and Youth. I feel theres a trophy on the way from somewhere, now where that is the question. In reality whichever one of our teams gets that trophy it's a sign things are a continuation of the great work being done at the club, just like our Youth winning there FA Trophy.
  13. Agreed, think he's here to stay so long as were a prem outfit still. Think the Owners will understand what's going on and accept the season for what it has been so far, which is unlucky happenings out of our control.
  14. If we have a full strength squad its just hard to judge how they will do. I think a fair assessment is the squad is a mid table team with the ability to push further if they klick right. It would be ridiculous and damn right stupid for any fan to shout for Dean's head if we have a bad season. If a bad season happens so what, so long as were still a prem side then not to much has been lost and weve suffered a setback that can be put right. If the setback happens it's not a reason to find a new coach and give up on Dean IMO!! Just enjoy the season regardless of what happens, we have a very exciting squad now capable of excellent things, it's just it may take time to connect together.
  15. Wow I can't believe this, I mean everyone is forgetting VillaPark was nearly reduced to nothing with all the equipment Barkley was destroying. That alone most likely cost more in damages than what he was worth .
  16. The thing with Konsa is you hardly hear about him during a game, now Mings he's always noticed. I think the fact that both of them compliment eachother it's easy to look at just one and think of him as this top dog of a player. I do think that Konsa makes much less errors and overall I believe he performs better and has a higher ceiling also. Mings himself is a very good leader and hes proved it from commanding an area to a full team. I just think when it comes time to replace him that we will comfortably be able to replace Mings as any other player we currently have at the club
  17. Yes his value will start to go down, he's what 28 or 29 now? There wont be many clubs up the top or in top European clubs that will pay above what we paid for him. It was always stated that we was buying Mings with the idea we would make a loss anyway. Unless some top half team comes in with a 40 mill bid (which I'd snap up), were just not going to get what we paid back for the bloke and that is okay if it turns out like that because he has helped overtime to add stability..
  18. Lol Nick it's no different than me and you with lots of pages of Tammy, I dont think either of us can comment on pages an pages. I am actually surprised we have not turned people into lemmings now and they run for the nearest cliff
  19. I really do think some of you think our players are beyond what they are all because your Villa fans. Everytime we talk about our players it's always they're good enough to walk into the top teams, that is not the case always, Grealish was because of how just damn good he was at what he did but I don't think any of our players apart from Martinez and possibly Watkins could jump into the top 5. When i say top five i mean your usual of Chelsea, Spurs,Pool,UTD or City. Their then is a few who could maybe take up residence at the likes of West ham, Everton and Leicester. The idea that Mings is at the level of the club or above I do and do not agree on this, if mid table is the level were talking then yes, any higher then no. The club made these players what they are, remember before Mings was rotting and couldn't get into the first team at Bournemouth, he's come along way yes but he's certainly not above our club, that was Grealish. Now it's very easy for the club to sell any player any window and make money while upgrading on them and that is why no player at Villa now that traitor left is above the club or at its level because at anytime the club can pull in better. While i think Mings is good I believe what keeps him from being what you describe is his mistakes that creep into games. Sure many players go through those exact mistakes but Mings when he does them cost us bigtime. It's also easy to label him this all excellent defender but that isn't just him putting in these performances in defence, he has an excellent CB partner in Konsa and I don't think all the credit goes to him anymore than it goes to just Konsa or the people on their flanks. Also England really, how many times has he played, hardly any because of Southgate, yes he should of been played more but he wasn't and people won't look at Southgate as the problem they will look at Mings and simply see he just wasn't good enough to get regular international time over his fellow England stars. I agree that at this moment in time replacing him wouldn't be a wise move but he isn't irreplaceable. There are many who could take up his role that could be bought By the club but again we have more weaknesses than our defence that is for certain and we can be more patient with Mings. I hear you on what you say, I just don't agree on everything you say mate.
  20. You don't know that, he did rather well in the game against brentford without Mings. Sure Konsa and Mings work as a partnership but it won't be the end of it if Mings was sold, we then brought in someone much better than Mings to slot at the side of Konsa. If anything I think he could more than step up to the job Mings does.

    Arsenal

Fire sale at Arsenal would be a sight to see.

I dont know, all I know is Arsenal mania is mad with fans comparing Arteta to Fergie
  23. I wanted Ghazi to be sold because better would be brought in and eventually it will, it had nothing to do not seeing him play through the season. It is a good job we didnt sell him with our Injuries, but it could be his last season unless he has a wicked one.
  24. The replayabilty at the moment is leveling the classes, guns and buying everything. Still not played horde yet, prob won't till i have all the classes maxed out. Once you complete the 4 Acts with each act have 3 missions in you unlock the horde mode and a new class. Also if complete on higher difficultys the missions and horde you unlock more stuff. The idea is to bump the difficulty up slow because the higher the combat rating the stronger you are and it take a while to get the guns and classes leveled up. I think there are about 6 difficulties at the moment. Supposed to be content DLC coming out this Wednesday..
