  1. We pretty much slaughtered them, Glad kodjia gave us both equaliser. Did I just see they gave the brentford player man of the match, as if..
  2. To be honest, Mapau shouldn't of even been on to score, in my eyes the linesman and ref severely messed up with the stamp/harassing behaviour on Mcginn and it's come back to haunt us. The game could have easily been more out of our reach but My land has made some very good saves. I was about to say: I think we have just been very unlucky tonight because we outplayed them pretty much every step of the way. ( then kodjia happened, you beauty) We deserved it, but I'm happy for the point.
  3. I wonder if Mcginn even runs out of energy, he never stops which is great for us and bad news for teams, Mcginn is supercharged and goes none stop.
  4. In my eyes, Adomah has been dangerous, he's took it too the opposition, caused them a headache and has looked fast.
  5. When are these refs going to start doing something, that stamp on Mcginn is just disgusting and deserved a red, not to mention the other players frustration at holding Mcginn in place before the stamp so he can't get back up from the floor.. It's bad enough that players are intentionally doing this to Grealish, now we have Mcginn another excellent player, the other teams are getting way more frustrated and still the refs are not doing enough. Is a shame we are behind because we have murdered them first half, hope the second repeats more of the first half.
  6. Kodjia then, he did all that work on that goal, when even I thought he had no where to go and he made it happen, he gets an A+ for that move..
  7. Lol kids, priorities are in wrong place when choosing games over villa's shirt. My 14 year old tried to show his allegiance to sheffield utd a couple of seasons ago and said dad could you get me a footy shirt, I said yeah son of course, I then went and bought him a villa shirt and he was shocked lol.. I refuse to buy any other shirt lol.
  8. The away is my least favourite out of the three kits, I actually like the third shirt the best, but had to get the home one first, as stated in previous posts of the historical importance of the home shirt helped me make that decision. I wonder if next season we will be seeing addidas on our shirts, I certainly wouldn't mind that at all especially on a shirt that would have a rather nice pattern like the thiird kit does.
  9. I think so yes, it creates competition, which then in turn creates hunger to be better than everyone who could possibly take your position, at the moment kodjia doesn't have that. I also think you are rite a manager should work with an out of form player, but a manager can't hold a players hand every step of the way, and Kodjia must accept responsibility, realise what he is doing wrong and try to keep moving forward. Kodjia has had some close calls, where he gets to frustrated, very fast, needs to remain calm, concentrate on his task and cause the other teams problems in ways which results in goals, not bookable offences. If kodjia doesnt start scoring regular and we make no attempt to bring in strikers, then we will be lumbered with an out of form player, no one to fill that gap, possibly till January or longer and it will cost us points, the options at least need to be there for us.
  10. The link works for me mate. It did say to me the 31st of august, but when pick delivery did say will arrive in 1-2 days, also the delivery email says 1-2 working days as well and nothing about the 31st on there. Last time that they had none of the away kit, they completely removed it for a while from viewing. I would love it to arrive for my birthday and hope it does, dieing to get my hands on the home kit, had grealish and the extra badges put on. Will also be getting that third shirt soon as possible. I think I seen a link that if you ordered through Luke himself there's 50% off at mo, not 100% sure though on that. Hope you get one sorted, prob best to just order it and even if not available yet, you will basically be put in a queuing system and one will arrive soon as possible to you.
  11. I paid for my home shirt today, it looks like they are in as it says 1-2 days delivery, http://m.shop.avfc.co.uk/stores/astonvilla/mobile/en/product/aston-villa-home-shirt-2018-19/240994?cur=GBP&CMP=GBC-villa200&portal=villa200&gclid=CjwKCAjw8O7bBRB0EiwAfbrThzqOScIftcEKwPDPl7SVXz1o4UXZC61iEomQzYZJMRyH4j1tozQbXRoC3H0QAvD_BwE
  12. You know you just signed him up for a toe tag rite ?
  13. Well if they did move for him again which I doubt it, Levy is a cheapskate and he would just be wasting his time. No doubt all that cost poche an ace in the hole and really irritated him with Levy's tightness. Wouldn't surprise me if Levy does the same with another player in January, if he does, poche will be thinking what size hammer to use on Levy's head.
  14. Oh my, now I love it even more, I need this one also, Thank you for posting the pic, it's mint. It is the pattern that I love, to me it stands out from most teams plain looking shirts.. I actually like the badge and colour of the badge.. Is a must buy for me, but a tease since I had to choose home or third, but I will have it.
  15. I've ordered my shirt today, hope get it in time for my birthday. I was however torn between the home and the third kit, I love the look of both of them to be honest. I feel the home one which won the toss for me because of the historical importance of William McGregor, part of the 12 who made the league 130 years ago is a must. still though before season is out I'll be having that third kit too because I love the pattern. This season's kit has been the best I've seen in a long time, used to love the Muller one though.. UTV!! Thank you Luke you done a spot on job on the kits.. Edit: saying I was torn between the home and third kit, I was also torn to who have on the back between elmohamady as he is my day of birth number shirt, grealish and mcginn. Choices lol, I feel excited now like a little boy in the sweet shop who took God knows how long choosing his favourite sweets..
  16. Farlz, you may see it as that because you dont agree with my support for our manager. Am I not aloud to talk about my views, and show my support for our club, Steve and our players ?? I know some of you are vets on this board and that's great. I'm new, but can I not at least be given the opportunity to have a fare say and share my feelings without being judged all just because some of you want bruce out??
  17. Personally im happy for Brucey Boy to carry on, till things start to go wrong, and when i mean wrong, i mean us tackling relegation in the championships. Why do i say this? its because after all the problems, financially, dismissals and player wise, it's going to take bruce this season to sort the headache out, which I'm fine with. Steve needs time and I know he can do it after all the upsets, we just need to get behind him. To me this season is about sorting out what players we can bring in and getting a stable build on the go.
  18. I must say it's a reckless style, but it seems to be pulling the wool over over teams so far. Sometimes order may not be the best way and a little chaos is needed. Here we have some crazy chaos from bruce and the lads and I'm all ok with it to be honest if it gets results..
  19. Bruce has my full support, still undefeated. To say we are having problems in some areas is true, finding players is certainly needed especially for defence and up front, soon as bruce finds those players, it will be like a (brucey bonus). Watch us go as a team, I would put a bet that we will be a force to be reckoned with reinforcements. We should see a few lads come in by end of the month, then watch our game lift even more..
  20. Hoping I am rite but I think Kodjia's game is about to go up, the goal will give him a boost for sure. He has had a couple of decent games in my eyes now, time for us to get behind him and give him that support he needs, especially how we are really relying on him as he is our only striker (fit) who can do the job.. The man has my full support and get the goals kodjia you can do it..
  21. hi all Xbox gamers.. I too own Xbox if anyone wants to add me my gamertag is zero carnage. I did have gamepass for state if decay but then bought it outrite, I will most likely be getting it back though in fall when Forza horizon 4 gets added on release.. It is good value for money, especially to those who don't have the games on the list,. It just so happens that apart from a select few I have most, but because of the tighter pockets now and not being able to buy so many games I'm waiting for that gamepass to be the kind of game pass that I too can take real advantage off because as of now it's not worth it and all because I had paid for most of the games before game passes release.
  22. The question here I think is, does micah want to play football again else where, or does he just want to sit around not doing anything till his contract is up?? . Micah could take what the club offers him and move on and try to revive there career else where, whether he can or not is down to him. To me the wise move would be to move on soon as possible for his career sake. If something is offered to him regardless of what contract he is under, moving on and potentially playing football again should be way more important than sitting tight and waiting for every penny to come his way from his villa contract. The longer Micah sits about not doing anything, will be the less likely any club will pick him again, to me that would be what I would most want to change from this situation.
  23. This will be my first post and I think it should be and hello all. Firstly my heart goes out to Ron and his family, dementia is a horrible thing to go through and for family to deal with. My mums partners mother has dementia and she doesn't even know who her own son is anymore. what is really heart breaking is when someone who has achieved so much in life, yet dementia takes place and they can no longer remember there accomplishments/life's work. We can remember for them but it's never the same as the person themselves remembering, those that did what they did for the benefit of others or those who paved the way to make this world a batter place, only to see memory fade, it is such a saddening and heart breaking time when this happens.
  24. Hi all my name is Dave and as the title suggest I'm from wolves down the road. Now you all may been wondering he is in the wrong place, well not really. You see when i was a kid living in wolverhampton my dad was a west brom fan, my grandad was Walsall fan and my uncle was a wolves fan, so it was a bit of a competition between them as to who I would end up supporting. So you could imagine to there shock when I finally picked my team when I was around 11 year old, choosing aston villa didn't sit well with any of them, be it family, friends or anyone who knew me, which made me want to be villa all the more. Thing is being in wolves, being a young boy at school seeing how many of my friends supported the likes of wolves, arsenal, man u, Blackburn and so on, it made more sense to me to show my allegiance to villa even more. One of the greatest matches I watched was the 1994 3-1 win at the coca cola cup with the likes of Dean Saunders and dalian Atkinson, Paul McGrath, Townsend, bosnich and Staunton, was epic. Now though I live in a completely different city (yorkshire) to the place I grew up as a kid and the banter is great, I will be going to the games between villa and Wednesday as well as villa and sheff utd. I do find this funny because I believe your kids should support who you support and my son being born in Sheffield tries to raise the sheffield utd name in the house, with which I have none of it. So to make it clear I got him is very own footy shirt and told my son there is only One footy shirt that rules anywhere especially this house, so I gave him is aston villa shirt and the shock in his face was classic. Again hi to you all and Thank you for taking the time to read.
