I think Ings is a very specific striker that needs to play in a very specific formation and system in order to work. He cannot lead a line on his own.

It's a real possibility. Gerrard is a complete rookie in terms of management at the top level. He will come up against better and more experienced managers every week. The quality of the squad may save him but so far we're averaging below a point per game. And we're down there in terms of expected goals as well.

I actually agree. I don't think people realize how important it is to get rid of Purslow. If Purslow would just stick with commerial deals I would be fine with him but his ego is far too big for that.

We said the same thing after Smith had one good half against Chelsea but ultimately lost the game. Turns out losing games doesn't breed confidence. We went on a horrible run after and he was sacked not long after.

Claiming we are an ambitious club aiming for Europe then suddenly turning the money tap off with Purslow saying we are gonna be self sustaining now. We are basically just Crystal Palace, Leeds now. Happy to stay in the league. Watching Newcastle showing real ambition while we're standing still is soul destroying.

They saved the club which we are all thankful for but in premier league terms they aren't good owners. Our recruitment under this regime has been beyond horrendous. Also. Lying to the fanbase and doing the opposite also doesn't sit right with me.

First half wasn't good. Chelsea were miles off and Potter predictably made pro active changes second half like top managers are supposed to do and what rookie managers struggle to react to.
