  1. Beale is right and I don't think the club has a plan or a strategy.
  2. Poch ain't coming. He isn't swapping coaching mbappe to be coaching Ollie Watkins.
  3. Because their squad needs freshening up but their owners refusing to listen and invest. Also managerial cycles don't last more than 3 years in the modern game. Sometimes a manager just needs a change just like players. You don't become a shit manager overnight.
  4. I think Leicester still will finish in the top half which is what we are so desperate for.
  5. So you are going to judge him because of 2 poor months after owners refusing to invest despite him telling them they needed to freshen up the squad? We're gonna forget all the years of good work he has done with them including two 5th place finishes + an Fa Cup. Only as good as your last game, yeah?
  6. I don't want any excuses for our players now that Gerrard is gone.
  7. How is he even remotely comparable to Dyche and Rafa?
  8. We could win this game and still average below a point per game. This is how badly Gerrard has left us.
  9. Really not sure Emery is keen to sign up for a relegation battle.
  10. Our destiny relies on the club's next major decision. And I don't trust Purslow nor the owners to make the right call. The owners wanted Henry early on remember? Lange is highly incompetent. We should have a top class sporting director to make these calls but we're a horribly run club. To say it short. I'm terrified. It's a super strong and competitive league and we've f***ed up a relatively "winnable" opening fixture list.
  11. Potter had a low budget at all his clubs except Chelsea and all his teams plays front foot, exciting football. Idea of Dyche suddenly playing attacking football with more money is rubbish. Hopefully board stays clear.
  12. Villa fans would not take to Dyche.
  13. Points total to stay up this season may be abnormally high. Doesn't seem to be a lot of push over teams this season.
  14. I agree with that. Emery and Rodgers would be my preferred choices. Would be very nervous and sceptical about Amorim.
  15. I think we should stay clear. Too many similarities with Gerrard the more I read about him.
  16. And how exactly is Amorim a statement signing? Relatively unknown and kinda similar to Gerrard in that he has won in a subpar league. Rodgers is PL proven.
  17. Would be excited. If we could get a hungry and motivated Rodgers we'll be in good shape. He will at the very least stabilize us and a huge step up from Gerrard.
  18. Was watching all or nothing and Arteta seem to have a bit of everything. He can set up extremely good sessions but is also class in man management, pre and in game tactics and is able to build a clear style of play and culture. This is where football is heading. The so called "man managers" (Bruce, Gerrard) is dated. We as a club need to move on with the times.
  19. Can this Amorim guy coach players? Because that is what we need. Think coach first manager second. If this is another "manager" who doesn't coach and it's another Gerrard/Beale situation I am not interested.
  20. What makes you think they will want the job?
