  1. One thing he would have done better is organise and lead. In that crazy spell yesterday nobody took charge.
  2. Yeah I agree with this. The likes of West Ham, Newcastle or Man U would have to go on an extraordinary run to overtake and they are very unlikely to do so but while it is possible some people may not be 100% comfortable. A couple of wins from our remaining fixtures should get us top 5 and that will be really good progress when judging the season as a whole. I agree Spurs will finish above us as they have a pretty much fully fit squad to choose from. Hopefully 5th place gets the CL place and we should be in it. UTV!
  3. He will miss the Arsenal and Bournemouth premier league matches and will be able to play vs Lille...
  4. Yeah they are the key positions that need to be sorted and have been for a while.
  5. It really is a terrible goal to concede. Despite us being 2-0 up there are more Brentford players attacking than Villa players defending. Konsa is marking absolutely nobody and the threat is the 3 vs 2. in front our goal. Obviously poor from Digne and both centre backs too.
  6. For the first Brentford goal what was Digne doing on the right hand side? The Brentford player then went beyond him and crossed it in. Konsa rather than marking a Brentford player then just stood marking empty space! The start of the chaos….
  7. This - the sooner Konsa gets back in the centre of defence the better.
  8. Really frustrated by us not winning but at least we got a point which is the same as Man U and Brighton managed against them recently. Well played to Watkins who proved again what a key player he is for us. To me we have to get Konsa back in the centre of defence as the balance of the team is not right when he is playing right back. Hopefully Cash will be back soon so we can do just that. TBH - can't see us finishing 4th but 5th should still be on. Need to beat Bournemouth and win one of the other games. UTV!
  9. Anyone know is Toney is on the bench?
  10. Who can forget this classic moment from the match at St Andrews:
  11. Really important game and with a tough set of fixtures left this looks one of the, on paper, more winnable matches. Think it will be a close game but hope we can do enough to get over the line with home advantage. 2-1 Villa. UTV!
  12. Still taller than Tommy Elphick...
  13. With the team we put out it is not a surprising result and proud of the players who gave their all. Let's regroup and make sure we beat Brentford at home, which on paper, should be a more winnable game.
