Hearn the real winner tonight. Only Wilder had a rematch clause for this fight. He doesn't have to fight Fury again and he looked really uncomfortable in there tonight for the most part. Hearn can enter negotiations with Wilder's team immediately for the April fight next year. Warren looked pissed off at the end. Even with the knockdowns, fury won that fight.

Think Smith definetely had a word in his ear about being more forward thinking with the ball. He passed it forward a lot today when it was on. Can be too one paced and negative at times.

I'll give hourihane his fair dues. He is pretty limited and we need a better quality of midfielder but he has at least got his head up and played forward passes this half. Basic stuff. Smith had a shout at him early first half when he seen him dropping too deep again.

I've no fear of them playing in front of us. They look slow and ponderous. Out wide and set pieces. All they have.

El Ghazi has great feet. Bit naive at times but only getting cameos up to now.

Fury isn't Szpilka. I've seen fury do lots of stupid things but i've never seen him do what that guy did in that clip.

Reminds me of froch in the sense that he does so many things wrong in how he actually delivers a punch, it's only when he throws a straight right hand that he seems to plant his feet properly but he doesn't throw it enough. Fury is very clever fighter. He won't lose to somebody ( as powerful as he is ) who's as sloppy as wilder.

Fury can also outbox wilder. And he will. People gonna be shocked how lopsided this will be on the cards. Wilder does too many things wrong , he just comes with the big windmill. Won't be enough tomorrow night.

I think to call him offensively competent is probably flattering him a bit. So cowardly on the ball. Doesn't want it. Not comfortable with it gives it to Chester and Tuanzebe more often than not despite being in space.

Not really. Majority of villa games he is bang average and then pops up with a goal so nobody talks about how he played. He wasn't in the game Sunday either.

Afraid of the ball. Can't use his right foot. Gives it the minute he gets it despite being in loads of space because his turning and balance is so poor. Can't go forward long term with him.

Why is hourihane even there ? So lightweight in that position. Useless.

Exciting time for the young lads to be part of the match day squad. They will get a chance i think. Games come thick and fast between now and January so we will need them. Always got the impression with Bruce it was a token gesture and they were there to appease others. Smith will have players in the squad on merit or they won't be there. Just the vibe i get from him.
