Isn't remotely close to a top 2 squad though whether it's Smith or Bruce in charge. Our midfield is absolute crap apart from McGinn. I'd send bolasie back to Everton Monday morning. He's here for a bit of fun. Clearly. More interested in posting on Instagram and Twitter. The injuries to tuanzebe and grealish can't be overstated. Two of the best natural ballers in our squad who started to play very well under Smith.

I understand that but it's not like transfer windows of the 90s and before where you can do business all year round. Yes, the Kalinic signing is promising i agree. Need strengthening in many areas though.

I just worry with lansbury that it's one good game then niggling injury, then back, out again for a good while. Has he even had say 6-7 games consecutively in a villa shirt ? Didn't seem to be the case when he was at forest.
