They've not won at home since boxing day and they've had some poor performances but I'm still a bit shocked they've decided bin him off. Must have someone else lined up otherwise it's just stupid.

That quote was from the sky sports report when mings moved to us. It does seem like a strange clause, the only benifit I could see from it is we wouldn't be involved in a bidding war for him we'd just have to wait for an accepted offer then match it.

Birmingham City were 10 points of second place on 1st of January and they were in 8th. 9 points is a massive gap.

9 points is quite a bit off challenging. Boro are currently 9 off the top and there's no way they've been considered to have been challenging for the title.

I'd be a lot more concerned if he didn't start off with those performances, without those he'd be on about 3 wins in 20. Expectations were play offs from day one when he came in, there was talk of top 2 after boro game but that soon faded away.

Wonder when the last time west brom turned up to villa Park and beat us comfortably without us scoring. Only Rotherham and Ipswich have conceded more than us, things are starting to get embarrassing now.

It's a system where when we are defending it's 4 5 1 and when attacking it converts to a 4 3 3. Call it what you want.

You still have to try new things if something clearly isn't working! This formation we currently play requires jack grealish or a similar player, we don't have that available to us. We need to try something new.

You can't say Bruce relied on individual bits of skill to grind out wins and draws then in the next sentence make an excuse for Dean Smith because he's incapable of winning without one individual in the side. We was so well organised under Bruce, most the wins we got we deserved it wasn't just bits of luck.
