I love how in Bruces first season when he took over a side 12 games in, just in the relegation zone in total free fall counts as a failed season when we didn't get promoted but Dean Smith gets a free pass all season because our full backs aren't his style.

And then our kids get beat week in week out. Will be great for their development that. Some of our 'top' youth talents are struggling to do anything in league 2 at the minute so what good are the young ones that remain here going to do? A lot of the first teamers are letting us down but so is Smith, the fact that we've not improved in the slightest since he has come here and Brentford have become a much better side says a lot imo.

It's a nice comparison but it's completely different to our situation. Klopp turned up to Liverpool after coming from a dortmund team which he won trophies with, beating a bayern Munich side to the bundesliga and got to a champions league final. He was already a proven world class manager he was always going to be given time. Klopp also took Liverpool to a league Cup final and europa league final that year so it wasn't as bad as just finishing 8th sounds. Smith is completely unproven, all we know is his teams score a lot but also concede a lot which is now what's happening with us. Its okay saying he needs time but he still needs to prove he's worth giving time too. I'll save my proper judgement come the end of the season but at the minute im not impressed with what I've seen.

I think 20 games is still enough for me to be allowed to gather some sort of opinion on how i think hes doing. I want him to have till the end of the season but if he continues this form I don't see why he should be given a full season in charge.

Because I question whether the man in charge is good enough? Okay.

Why? We were 3 nil down at home, played utter crap for 82 minutes, we've won 3 in 13 matches. He's still doing a poor job.
