Big big game today. If we win and stop hulls impressive winning streak it could set us for a few good results and get some confidence back.

Some of those results sound better than they were though. Barely beat Birmingham, they should have been 2 up and out of sight, Swansea are not a good side and 5-5 against a side who went down to 10 men is not even remotely anything to brag about. We've had a few good games under him and that's about it, the rest have been dull and flat performances with hardly any of this attacking style system he supposedly brings. I really do hope he does well for us, I'd never want one of our managers to fail. Maybe once Grealish returns we will look a completely different side again. Not looking forward to playing hull tomorrow though that's for sure.

We lost to a Wigan side 3 0 who had only scored 2 in 7 and hadn't seen a win in 9. This was on the back of another 3 0 defeat and 4 poor results. I'm all for been patient and giving him a bit of time but he still needs to make a better impact than he currently is, top 6 should be more than achievable with this side I'd want him gone if he failed to do that.

Every single game I see someone say "this is the worst half I've seen under Smith." Shows how bad we've been recently. I'm already bored of his 'honest assessment' in post match interview. This team should be challenging play offs no dramas. For some reason Smith gets an easy ride of a lot of fans.

Had another injury which left him out the squad for a while but 10 apps 5 goals and 1 assist ain't bad when you look at it. I'd much rather see him on our bench capable of coming on and doing something than someone like adomah who clearly can't be arsed anymore.

My thoughts exactly, as fans we talk about how we need to change the way we buy players and how the old regime doesn't work but then we suggest throwing 12 million at the in form striker in the league.
