    How can you bash Bruce for signing him on loan? He scored 16 in 20 games, it was a fantastic bit of business! The recall option is In most loan deals...

    Davis does have ability, you can see that but problem is he doesn't score enough, we need a striker to come in and start scoring from game one. We are to far behind the play offs to give him time to settle in up front and maybe start scoring. Kodjia will replace tammy and whilst he's nowhere near as good he will score goals.

    Maja is a great shout. Out of contract in the summer, could get him cheaper than most other targets we would be looking it. Nowhere near the finished article but clearly a natural goalscorer which is what we will be needing with tammy going.

    Yeah pretty much every loan will come with a recall option now, it's silly not to put one in on anyone you loan out.

    Can't blame him for wanting this move, we only really have ourselves to blame. You can't have top class players like this in your side and sit mid table of the championship, wish him well but just not with those Dingles.

    Dreadful again. A cup game with a weakened side so I won't be to upset about it but still doesn't look good. Problem is now abraham is joining wolves so weve lost our goals but still conceding at least 2 most games, something needs to be sorted and soon.

    I think keepers are expected to save everything now. Unless it's a worldie goal they'll just get blamed.

    Can't belive mcginn not being rested for this fixture. We missing key players already why risk another one in a nothing fixture, he should have been left out.

    Just seen solanke going to Bournemouth from Liverpool for £20 million, I think he has scored once for them in over 20 apps, completely unproven at any level. There's absolutely 0 chance Chelsea let abraham leave for £19 million with transfers like that going on.

    There's absolutley nothing about it on sky. The only ones reporting it are the same ones that said Henry is the new villa manager and we all know how wrong that was. Nobody buys papers so they write anything for the clicks, they just make stuff up.

    No way does he leave for 18 million. They rejected bids from spurs for 25 at the start of the season so can't see that happening.

    Great striker, really has to consider his future now. Far to good for this division and if he can get a move to a prem club this month he would be mad to not push for it, I hope for our sake it doesn't happen though because if Kodjia takes his place we don't score.

    We need a win sharpish, some of our recent performances have been very poor, he has to take some of the blame. He has the chance to bring in some players now, hopefully this will sort out that awful defence of ours but we cannot continue to play the way we have been.

    Big difference between those two sides though, main one being Hull are shite.

    He's getting worse every week, he must know how bad he actually is. He'll be one of the first to be replaced this window and can then start thinking about retirement. I like the guy but he's just nowhere near good enough.

    We are currently just as close to Bolton in the relegation zone than Leeds at the top. Puts into perspective just how poor we've been this season.

    Bedsheets will be out again soon and we will no longer need a forward thinking attacking style manager but rather one who can grind out results...

    Seen on ssn before Preston game we've dropped most points in league after taking lead, it was 19 but then obviously Preston game will have put it to 21. Awful stat.

    Should recall him just to sell him, he's having a good season, we could easily get a few million for him.

    I genuinely can't think of a more frustrating side to follow than villa.
