  1. Guys and gals, anybody here used Onkyo products? I seem to keep stumbling across really good reviews for their stuff, might invest.
  2. No way. If everyone went for someone who was perfect (in their eyes) then the majority of us wouldn't exist. There isn't such thing as perfect when it comes to a person, but surely if you're with somebody they're as close to being perfect in your opinion as they can be. If I thought my missus was a 7/10 I'd have to re-evaluate my relationship.
  3. Surely if you're going to rate your missus below 10/10, you shouldn't be with her?
  4. Try and get Francisco Alcacer from Valencia!
  5. Just met KEA in Sainsbury's, top bloke, said he loves life here and he just wants to keep improving his game.
  6. Things like that Xbox Fitness thing allow me to persuade the other half that she will want/need to use the Xbox One, meaning it isn't entirely mine and she should put in towards it, meaning that I can buy a new surround sound system. Thank you Microsoft.
  7. My board are extremely tight, after two consecutive doubles and Groningen's first ever Champions League trophy, they still only offer me £300k transfer budget. They are however expanding the stadium and improving both the youth and training facilities so I can't complain. Sold 3 of my players this Summer for around £20m, allowed me to bring in a few young potential wonder kids as well as Alvaro Morata and Cristian Tello. Third season and my FC Groningen team looks like this: Average age is down to 22 now, without Valdes and Annan it should be down to 21 I think.
  8. Won the Dutch League and Cup again, as well as beating Barca 4-1 in the Champions League Final. Will post details + tactic for those who want it tomorrow.
  9. Have you been playing Richairo Zivkovic? If so, hows he doing? Signed him for Villa for free (£575k Comp) and he's been a pretty decent impact sub for me so far, and 5 star potential too. He's scored 1 goal in 4 sub appearances, pretty decent for a 17 y/o. With him, Grealish, Tielemens, Graham and the other youth prospects, Villa's future is very bright on my save As you can see, he hasn't been getting many games this season but that is primarily down to my strike partnership of Francisco Alcacer and David Texeira. I'm trying to train him into a complete forward, this season focusing on his physical training primarily as he needs to bulk up a bit more. His speed is immense as you already know and I reckon over this season/next season he'll break into the team. I've just started putting him onto the bench (again as you can see from the stats above) so probably after Xmas I'll be starting him more. Worth a mention that Leandro Bacuna's little brother looks like an absolute gem, another player I'll probably be bringing into the first team this season! My average age is 23 and my aim is to keep this bunch together so they can all grow as a unit. Francisco Alcacer is somebody I recommend to everybody by the way, guy is a tank.
  10. My second season at Groningen and I'm still unbeaten in all competitions since March 2014. Top of my Champs League group which consists of Bayern, Lyon and Basel without conceding any goals getting 3 wins. Also top of the league with 9 wins and 3 draws, only let 7 goals in. Oh and I signed Victor Valdes
  11. Good, I hope they do as that would mean we'd have a chance at beating them.
  12. How much did you get for it all? £190 something, for GTA V, Boxed 360, a few old games and an extra pad. Still got FIFA to get £40 for too.
  13. Where is best to upload it to? Mediafire?
  14. going OT - I don't doubt, I just think when people list all the (many) things wrong with English football and those pesky foreigners always come out on top they never mention how kids who have appeared on the bench once or twice are somehow getting millions, wouldn't he be better off getting £10k a week and playing every match... but he's 19 and made it so what does he care about playing I still think the answer to both the national teams problems and the disparity in the prem is to have a wage cap on the 25 man squad, pay yaya toure £250k a week if you want but that means you cant pay Scott Sinclair £50k a week for being number 25 100% agree mate, I doubt Leandro Bacuna is on over £10k a week for us and he's cemented himself in the team so far. Shows the disparity in our league.
  15. I'd love to see this long list of premiership owners that are clearly worse than Lerner. Too many to list. That's not to say there aren't a lot of better owners as well though. You can't honestly believe he's one of the worst Premier League owners? When you have really bad owners, you end up not being in the Premier League.
  16. And...Andy? Jack Grealish is shit hot in FM2014?
  17. I'd imagine Chelsea's wage structure is a great deal different compared to a club like our own.
  18. Just won the Dutch double in my first season with Groningen. Lost 2 games all season!
  19. How you getting on now pal? Team started playing better again?
  20. Brb going to support Man United.
  21. Call me a traditionalist, but I expect midfielders to actually have some ability on the ball rather than without it. Otherwise we may as well sign Mo Farah, bet he could put in a cracking shift. tbh none of them are that bad individually, but they really do not complement each other at all. I think they do compliment each other, but yesterday it was pretty dreadful. I think Sylla compliments Delph and Westwood, as we saw last season. Delph is a lot better than KEA, he is basically our 'Cabaye'. A poor mans version but a version at least. I'd actually like to see Bacuna given another chance outside of the right back role, whether it be in the middle of the park or out in the wing. Maybe Bacuna and Delph with Sylla sitting behind them to mop up. Bacuna and Delph are both quick and attack minded, but they can also defend well. Might be worth a shot.
  22. Our best chance came pretty much as soon as he came off the pitch. I think people are mistaking running around a lot for being an actual attacking threat, the threat would have been there had he gone through and actually tried to take his first chance. I really hope we see the best of him again after he is back from injury. I think being out for a few weeks will help him as it seems he's become comfortable with his position in the team, I can't imagine many other teams in our league would have him as a permanent fixture in their starting 11 at the minute.
  23. No doubt that Cardiff will be boosted from their win over Swansea and they'll be looking to pick up another 3 points from a team who have worrying home form. Hopefully we can change that around and pick up a win ourselves, in my opinion this is a must win game for us. I actually think we're going to go with a 5-3-2 again, like at West Ham, although I hope not. Think we'll line up like this: Goose Bacuna / Vlaar / Clark / Baker / Luna Westwood / KEA / Delph Kozak / Benteke Hope we line up like this: Goose Bacuna / Vlaar / Clark / Luna Westwood / Sylla / Delph Tonev / Benteke / Gabby
  24. Or we could play Bacuna in front of Lowton, which I personally think would work really well if they were given the time to build a relationship. If the two learnt to interchange, Bacuna dropping behind when Lowton goes forward, it would keep us stable at the back with Lowton still able to push on and get balls into the box. Lowton yesterday showed how class his crosses are but his defensive positioning was a bit weird, he seems to tuck in a lot when tracking back and leaves the opposition winger a lot of space to get balls in. I thought it was strange considering we had 3 centre backs already.
