Sold Vlaar for £8m in January which funded a move for Vitinho. Benteke spat his dummy out but the best offer I got was £15m, come April and he has asked to stay. Probably going to finish 9th, won the Capital One Cup and I'm in the final of the FA Cup. How much was Van Ginkel?

Football.. erm.. our current bunch of players are nice lads, Jaap Stam seemed like a tosser, Martin O'Neill is a tosser. Most of the 'famous' people I know/meet are work related so I'll leave it there.

Half way through my first season on my first proper Villa save, sold Delph and Clark which allowed me to buy Fernando (from Porto), Paco Alcacer and Stefan Strandberg. Currently sitting in 4th position on the 1st of January and I'm in the Capital One Cup Semi-Final. Gabby, Kozak and Weimann don't get many games for me either now I've got Alcacer who is forming a good partnership with Benteke. If you play Benteke as a complete forward, Helenius is a really good option to have coming off the bench so it seems, he can play well as a wide forward too.

I really hope that PES 2015 steps up to the mark, haven't played 2014 but apparently the new engine is good. I think EA have gotten complacent, so many minor bugs that haven't been fixed for years, it is evident that all they're bothered about is kids playing Ultimate Team with access to their parents credit cards. That's business though so I guess you can't blame them..

Unfortunately he was only that cheap on the beta, he cost me £2m on the full game He can definitely be picked up that cheap on the full game, I guess it's a matter of how fast you get in there. Also don't try to barter, just bid £400k (maybe £500k) and hopefully they'll accept.

Stefan Strandberg from Rosenborg is such a steal at about £400k, if you're managing Villa I'd say sell Clark to Celtic for about £3m and replace him with Strandberg (if you need a ball playing defender). Other cheap players under £1m a la Lambert: Pele van Anholt - 22-year-old Dutch player from Heerenveen who can play at right back, right mid and center mid. Basically Bacuna. Can pick him for about £200k I think. Zivkovic - 16-year-old Dutch wonderkid striker from Groningen, can get him for £550k at the start of the game although you'll face competition from top teams. By the time he hits 19 you'll get offers of £25m for him should you develop him properly.

Yeah I see what you mean and I can see how GSP 'could' have got given those rounds, but for me Hendricks clearly won the fight. Wouldn't surprise me if it all ties in to a rematch for GSP's last fight. $$$

The journo took quotes from the other day and combined them with quotes from last season, apparently West Ham are favourites to get him according to Twitter so god knows. Doesn't look like anything solid has been said about us though.

I'd take him. He is looking for a loan back. Keane did well for us. The Seattle GM is quoted saying both sides are working on the deal...seems like Dempsey will be on his way to Villa Park... Link? Reckon he could do a job to be fair, may be able to offer something to the younger lads as well

I thought it was to buy lukaka when we were buying Bentekke but he was to expensive. Never heard anything about a loan regarding him. Nah he admitted to trying to get him on loan but the wages were too much, when asked if it was 'instead' of Benteke or not, he said no he wanted them both.

I doubt a club would come in for Gabby myself. Even when he is playing well, I just can't imagine a club trying to buy him for some reason, not now anyway. A few years ago he had a lot of hype around his name but now I think he is set for an entire career, which is good for both him and us, it's a rarity nowadays.
