After being arguably robbed by the referee at Stamford Bridge, the Baggies will want to come back from the international break with a win over us. On the other hand, we will go into the game refreshed and hopefully with Delph, Gabby, Luna and Weimann all back and ready for action. A win for Villa will see us go above the Baggies, although I think the game will be extremely tight. I'd like to see a 4-3-3, it is our best away formation and allows us to break on the counter: Guzan Lowton Vlaar Clark Luna Sylla Westwood Delph Bacuna Benteke Gabby I think we can win this game, although I do think it will be right and I wouldn't be surprised if they got one over us.

If Ronaldo had scored that we'd be hearing about it for weeks. Was going to say that, or Rooney/Mata/Hazard/RVP/Suarez/Gerrard etc. It changes velocity after it bends over the wall, as much as the keeper looks like a clown you can tell it was at some speed from the way the ball rolled out of the net.

Not just his freekick today by the way, his overall performance defending and getting forward when he finally could was solid, very consistent in his performances. Great to know he stays after training on Friday's on his own to practice his set pieces too.

Although I think it was a poor game, I'm glad Lambert made the substitution which won us the game eventually. I hope we never see that formation again though when our injured players are back. 4-4-2 or 4-3-3 are the way forward.

Bacuna and Lowton on the right together is a must now in my opinion, whether it be 4-4-2 or 4-3-3. Let them build up an understanding and watch them go. Great run from Bacuna to win the freekick in the first place, I was glad he kept positive throughout the game and then another beautiful freekick. GIF anybody?

I actually don't think he looked poor today, again he put himself about and such but the main problem today was the way we were set out. As soon as Lowton came on we switched to a 4-4-2 which gave us the width we needed. Glad he got a goal anyway, as you say I hope it gives him some confidence.

Doing the Weimann celebration / about to eat tea time. We played awfully but in terms of attack, but our defence was once again solid. Vlaar, Bacuna, Clark and Goose all did well for me. Bacuna MOTM for getting us in front, special mention to Kozak for persisting and getting a goal too.
