  1. I'm leaving COD for the kids, I got Battlefield 3 last year with the Premium DLC for about £25 combined. Safe to say I haven't had that much fun on an online FPS for a long time, bring on BF4!

    GTA 5

Trading this in tomorrow myself, quickest I've ever got rid of a GTA game but after completing the story mode and with the Online mode having issues galore, I think I'm done. Personally I'd put The Last of Us ahead of GTA as GOTY by a mile. If they re-release on next gen then I'll probably pick it up, but my Xbox 360 is going too. Bye current gen, its been a good one!
  3. Got two saves on the go, the one where I was Deinze in Belgium and moved to England after two promotions and now one with Brighton. Won the Championship with Brighton and in February of my first season in the Prem I'm sitting comfortably in third position. Beat Man City, United and Chelsea on the bounce. Think I can turn these guys into world beaters!
  4. Shame Lambert never actually plays him Free Yacouba! Corrected
  5. No external storage allowed either, which I find quite odd considering games like COD that are very popular will be taking up about 50GB of space should you install it. Of course you could replace the internal HDD but I'd imagine that would seem quite daunting for many people. Still think I'll pick one up after Christmas but certainly opting for the Xbox on release still.
  6. Okay, the version number is 14.1.1 so I guess there definitely is a need for a retail key. However, the game still functions perfectly fine apart from Online being blocked still. Sorry guys . At least some people may be able to play a bit longer before deciding whether to buy or not, think I'll go grab it today!
  7. I'll check version number shortly, but options that were previously unavailable opened up after I restarted the game last night.
  8. Yeah, cloud saving etc. is now available for me to use. So to confirm: Anybody that did the pre-order and cancel trick with Amazon, the Steam code you received is for the full game (the Beta simply 'became' the full game at 00:01). Happy days indeed!
  9. Did anybody else use the Amazon method I posted? I'm hoping that I haven't jumped the gun but the 'BETA' tag has been removed from the menu screen and I can still launch the game. Free FM2014 for the win?
  10. I'd switch Westwood for Sylla, but I like the idea of having both Lowton and Bacuna on the right.
  11. Okay so Steam updated my game, now it crashes literally every 10-15 minutes. Pretty much broken the game, annoying.
  12. Think I'm going to start my Villa save today, god help me.
  13. Same so far. I left DMSK Deinze after being relegated from the Belgian Pro League, the club wouldn't give me a transfer budget at all or even a wage budget higher than £15k. Impossible to compete at top level even in Belgium. My experience has landed me a job in England though, Rotherham in League One who are currently at the bottom of the table. Time to kick ass and chew bubble gum.
  14. I just think Weimann wanted to see what was going on
  15. Tried the Amazon route?
  16. To be fair, anything that has to be kept secret must be important and anything important should be shared with the club's biggest stakeholders: the fans. As said above, what is the point of having a Q&A if nobody can even know what the answers were?
  17. For somebody who wasn't even a first choice at his previous club and is in his first season in a new country with a new language and a new style/tempo of play, I think he has done pretty well. Yes his positioning is sketchy at times as he likes to get forward, but I assume this will improve as he gets used to the type of football we play in England. He's shown some good defensive displays and some not so good, but he definitely knows how to get forward. He seems passionate and judging by the way he is trying to learn English quite fast, I think he'll turn out as a pretty good left back for us.
  18. Correct me if I'm wrong but wasn't Helenius an 'out and out' striker AaB? So why would he be signed to play out wide, where he quite clearly doesn't have the pace to play there, or behind a forward? (although he is certainly more equipped to play there than out wide). I always saw Helenius as a 'prospect' signed to eventually replace Benteke when he leaves next season. Kozak is probably more of a stop gap. I'm only going off what he said in his interview when he signed. As for the comment about calling Helenius a winger, no, he is far from a winger but Weimann isn't a winger either. We don't play with wingers, we play with wide forwards. Personally I think Helenius must be already on or if not should be put on a serious physical training regime to get him up to the Premier League standard in terms of strength and pace. Maybe then he can play up top a la Benteke.
  19. He doesn't seem as quick as he did last season, I'd certainly agree with you from that aspect, but he is constantly running about.
  20. Kozak wasn't £7m and he was bought as back-up for Benteke, Helenius was not bought as back-up for Benteke he was bought to play out wide or behind Benteke. How many times...
  21. But he has had the supply, he's hit so many off target this season it's unbelievable.
  22. He looks more of a Dutch international defender than he did last season, although I didn't think he did all too bad for his first season the Prem anyway. I think he's playing well at the minute.
  23. I don't agree with anything here. If anything he's too careful with his passes forward and easily passes back to Guzan, but I can live with that. I don't know why he didn't start today. Baker being better against more physical opponents is bull in my mind. And Baker surely wasn't good against Spurs. Generally I expect next season's CB duo to be Clark - Okore. With Vlaar added every now and then. Baker is the fourth choice. Vlaar is clearly our best CB at the minute though?
  24. New contract? Who knows. The same thing has happened to Westwood and Lowton. It's ironic that we could be going back to a position where we have a load of highly paid shite players (but that's obviously exaggerating) It is a valid point though, those who were rewarded with new contracts becoming our poorest performers is actually ridiculous.
