  1. Man Utd have an easier run in on paper than us. We could carry on at 1.5/1.75 points per game and they could still easily catch us. All it takes now is one more injury or red card to a key player and we are stuffed. Realistically, It’s basically a 3 team mini league for two (hopefully) champions league spots for the remaining third of the season and we have a slight head start that is countered by our relatively appalling injuries and the congestion and difficulty of our fixture list.
  2. Ultimately it doesn’t really matter where we get the wins from but shows how important the forest, Luton and spurs games are.
  3. We need 7 more wins from the remaining 13 games to more or less guarantee champions league football. There’s no longer much room for error when you consider the difficulty of the fixtures ahead, the thin squad and the extra Europa games. Target Wins Forrest (H), Luton (A), Spurs (H), wolves (H), brentford (H), Bournemouth (H), Chelsea (H) Harder fixtures West Ham (A), Man City (A), Brighton (A), Arsenal (A), Palace (A), Liverpool (H)
  4. I do. The only question is when heck gets sacked (will be this summer latest) who on this thread will be deemed his “cocksucker” of choice?
  5. Earlier than I thought but my earlier comment in the thread did say that he would limp on until the summer of this season. I had obviously heard the noise about heck at this point.
  6. Well at least when everything comes out and Heck and Hatton are fired at least we’ll know who all the bootlickers are.
  7. People are fine with hard messages. That’s standard when competent execs come in because they know it’s all about managing the change. People are not fine with incompetent aggressive arseholes that lie and that do not convey any positive characteristic trait of leadership.
  8. Ok for all the doubters let me ask you this question in another way… Considering we’ve had so many crap owners and so many crap execs in the last 50 years have you ever, ever seen this amount of “noise” about the behavior and integrity (not competence) of any one of them?
  9. I’m not emotive. I have information that you don’t. I understand your non-informed stance.
  10. Let me repeat. Are you aware of any inside information that all of these allegations against heck are incorrect? If not, I suggest you read between the lines when people are trying to shine a light on what’s been going on and let things unfold.
  11. Ive been hearing these whispers about heck since September. Have you heard anything from a trusted source to suggest that all of this is bullshit? If not, I’d suggest you wait for things to play out.
  12. Mate. Just because you are unaware of what’s been going on, don’t assume others are not aware of what he’s been doing.
  13. Someone broke cover to leak the crest and now someone has broken cover - at great risk to their job - to air very, very significant grievances that they did not feel comfortable raising through normal channels. Not all heroes wear capes.
  14. It’s open knowledge that morale amongst staff at VP has been incredibly low and much of what has been stated in that letter has been whispered about for some time. That’s one of the reasons some of us were so anti Heck for some time. This will get picked up by the media and club will have to conduct an investigation. The facts will then emerge but there has been far too much smoke here for far too long. Hopefully there’s enough to prove he’s broken his employment contract and he can then be fired without being paid out.
  15. If we truly want to be competitive in the current and next era of the premier league and European football we have no other realistic option but to rebuild the existing stadium or move to a new stadium. We can’t bank on having a manager like Emery forever who is always going to have us outperforming clubs with significantly higher revenue - especially in a PSR/FFP world.
  16. Great opportunity for Cash to win back his shirt and for Carlos to try to claim the right side CB slot as his own. If we get the midfield cover for Cash right we should be ok v Chelsea. Man Utd is more concerning as they targeted RB in the previous game so Cash is going to have to play very well but he’s done that before. No need for panic stations just yet.
  17. 8 wins has to be the aim with a target of 5 at home and 3 away. Home Man utd, forest, Spurs, wolves, brentford, Bournemouth, Chelsea, Liverpool Away Fulham, Luton, west ham, man city, arsenal, Brighton, palace, We need to get wins on the board in Feb otherwise could leave us with a lot to do when the fixtures pile up and get harder in March and April. Not losing to spurs and Man Utd to a lesser extent is key obviously.
  18. Assuming we don’t sell a major player key priority targets will be RB, Kamara competition and Watkins competition. Maybe a left footed CB if Mings recovery is concerning.
  19. There is no guarantee that Mings will be the same player after a year out at this point in his career.
  20. Play same XI as v sheff utd and go strong. Real opportunity to build confidence and progress to latter stages of the cup if we get through Chelsea.
  21. We have to beat Man Utd at home to put them to bed. If they win, it’s only a 5 point gap and that’s nothing with so many games still left to play.
  22. Plan will be to sell cash I suspect and replace with a first teamer with the Serbian kid being the back up.
  23. This is going to be a horrible, excruciating watch of us being low blocked to death. They know exactly what to do and a point for them would be great. Hopefully, we just need to get that first goal somehow.
  24. Traore was probably paid off to some degree but agree with the rest.
  25. The announcement has clearly now been delayed due to the reaction to the leaked crests. It was set to be announced in the first half of the month by all accounts. Lets hope they’ve been busy adjusting the proposed design….
