  1. He got us to an FA cup final though. As you say he wasn’t really a manager. Was just winging it. Keeping on topic I reckon players like Bree, Landsbury and El Ghazi will have a chance to impress in the next week. They still play a part for us this season. They have the ability so it’s up Smith and his team to get the best out of them. The attitude may be the issue. Smith has spoken about how important the attitude of a players is to him
  2. I was thinking of Mbappe when I posted but for some reason I thought it was the Euros.
  3. Living in the past again Tro Different times pal. I mean Pele was scoring in WC finals at 17 in the 60s. Doubt we’ll ever see that again.
  4. Ever present at Valencia at the age of 20. Made his Debut for Spain at the same age. You could see he was something special at an early age. I love Grealish and he will go far. Hopefully with us. But I think we’d know by now if he was going to be world class.
  5. Of course we can. I love him and have lost count of how many complimentary posts I’ve written about him. He’a a joy to watch and my favourite player. I just think it’s crazy to think he can ever be as good as David Silva. One of the best players the Premier League has ever seen!
  6. In some cases I believe the release discussion is the figure a club must meet to discuss terms. It doesn’t in all cases mean the selling club has to sell although i assume in the majority of cases they would. However if for example the clause is 25m and Spurs offer 25million and one. Could our owner ask what they are smoking down at White Hart Lane and tell them to F off?
  7. I suspect the release clause negotiated with jack for his new contract would be a realistic one of his value. Dont beleive the reports of 60 million.
  8. I think we’d sell him for 25-30m if we didn’t go up. Can’t keep him in the league yet another season and we’d also probably need the money.

  10. 82 could be very close to top 2 this season.
  11. Bloody hell lads. A few good performances in the Championship and he could be as good as David Silva? No wonder people are disappointed when he has an average game. Jack is quality and can be a good Premier League player. But if he was ever going be on David Silva’s level Id think we’d know about it by now.
  12. Where did you get 60 million from? If we don’t go up this season Jack Grealish is gone.
  13. I agree to an extent. But nearly every club out there is a selling club if the price is right.
  14. It is. So imagine the pain a person must be going through to even attempt it. Its very sad news.
  15. I think you could say that about a lot of our players. Even some of those out on loan. The question is. How many players somewhere in between the two extreme will be good enough for promotion? I don’t mind Hutton at RB but would prefer Elmo to play there.
  16. Win every game from now and until the end of the season and we finish on 135. That must be enough for a promotion. On a serious note. Anyone know the record for championship points?
  17. Sneaky fiver at 20-1. Stranger things have happened...
  18. Ha true. I know a lot of fans love to see them lose but I personally couldn’t care less what they are doing. They are too insignificant to care about. We must beat them to get back in the promotion race. They must beat us because that’s all that matters to them.

  20. I appreciate that but every player will make mistakes so it’s wrong to single out his error against Birmingham after he apparently played so well in the previous 10 games. Im not saying he is a good defender. But I think he is adequate for this league.
  21. Gary Neville you mean? I think there’s an element of arrogance. Just because they were big players they think they can walk straight in to positions at big clubs that’s are struggling and turn it around. Someone like Smith has had to prove himself As a manager he has worked hard to get where he is today. By the way it’s only Tuesday and I feel down knowing we have to wait another 12 days before the next game. I hate international weeks.
  22. Baker aside we let these players go because they weren’t good enough even though we were shit. Have we fallen that far that we’d want them back!
