    Yeah I’m being over optimistic. Howe also started his coaching quite young and in lower leagues. It feels like we’ve finally got the right setup from owners to coaches. It’s been such a long time we’ve had this Still very early days though. January business could be telling.

Keeping on topic I reckon players like Bree, Landsbury and El Ghazi will have a chance to impress in the next week. They still play a part for us this season. They have the ability so it’s up Smith and his team to get the best out of them. The attitude may be the issue. Smith has spoken about how important the attitude of a players is to him

    Ever present at Valencia at the age of 20. Made his Debut for Spain at the same age. You could see he was something special at an early age. I love Grealish and he will go far. Hopefully with us. But I think we’d know by now if he was going to be world class.

    Of course we can. I love him and have lost count of how many complimentary posts I’ve written about him. He’a a joy to watch and my favourite player. I just think it’s crazy to think he can ever be as good as David Silva. One of the best players the Premier League has ever seen!

    In some cases I believe the release discussion is the figure a club must meet to discuss terms. It doesn’t in all cases mean the selling club has to sell although i assume in the majority of cases they would. However if for example the clause is 25m and Spurs offer 25million and one. Could our owner ask what they are smoking down at White Hart Lane and tell them to F off?

    I suspect the release clause negotiated with jack for his new contract would be a realistic one of his value. Dont beleive the reports of 60 million.

    Bloody hell lads. A few good performances in the Championship and he could be as good as David Silva? No wonder people are disappointed when he has an average game. Jack is quality and can be a good Premier League player. But if he was ever going be on David Silva’s level Id think we’d know about it by now.

    I think you could say that about a lot of our players. Even some of those out on loan. The question is. How many players somewhere in between the two extreme will be good enough for promotion? I don’t mind Hutton at RB but would prefer Elmo to play there.

    Ha true. I know a lot of fans love to see them lose but I personally couldn’t care less what they are doing. They are too insignificant to care about. We must beat them to get back in the promotion race. They must beat us because that’s all that matters to them.
