Recomend any places to go eat or things to do? I can see how it could be good if surf and do activities etc but missus expecting so not up for anything. Something else I really should have considered before booking it really. yep. Newquay. As your missus is expecting it does limit it a bit, but maybe take a walk to the bowgie from town, or wander out on the coast, either just on the headland, to towards watergate bay. Great views. If you have a car, then there's local villages, there's a few beaches that are kind of unknown (polly joke). On the other coast fowey and mevagissey are only maybe 30 or 40 mins away and worth a visit. Or go to st Ives, Penzance, lands end, Truro -all good for a day or half day visit. In Newquay itself, bimble up to the red lion, sit and watch the sea. Dunno if they still have bands on, on a Sunday in there. Cheers for that. Did you ever visit Crantock village and beach?

I've always seen the label "black" as a reference to someone's (presumed) ethnic background, rather than a reference to skin colour per se. Someone who looks "white" could identify himself as a black person, for example, if he has African ancestry, and/or grew up in a black family. Like in the jerk?

Yeah, Grebo is a generic West Midlands term for anyone who is a bit "alternative" (skaters, Metallers, Goths etc). I'm sure it comes from bands like Ned's Atomic Dustbin and Pop Will Eat It's Self. I'm one of those that has been saying for a while I think Vlaar will leave but I wouldn't blame the club for selling him if he wants to leave.

Similar position to Barcelona? We've never been that big really. Apart from the early 80s success when was the last time we were really successful or dominant? We as fans need to accept we are just not that big a club. We could have been, but that time has passed for now.

It actually costs about £120 a year, I'm a member. If Villa wanted to go that way we would have to become a sporting members club (again) which is what Barca is, it runs all sorts of teams playing a variety of sports. So for us to do that we as supporters and prospective members would have to buy the club off Randy. So if the price is £200m and we can get 50,000 members we would all have to chip in £4,000 each and then we have to provide working capital and hope the club was self financing going forward. It's not going to happen. We will just have to wait for the mythical '£200m US Takeover'. I will start a thread about this when get chance as there were quite a lot of posts previously on the subject rightly removed as OT. Barcelona are a completely different kettle of fish to us. Main team of a region of 7M people that want independence from Spain. It's almost like an International team in its own right. We in comparison are small fry. Can't see a takeover anytime soon. Can see relegation before a takeover which I think would increase our chances of being bought on the cheap.

Don't really rate him but he did score a few crucial goals to be fair.
