  1. Doesn’t look sincere enough. CHESTER OUT!
  2. Right if things stay as is and Brentford can somehow beat Boro. We win tomorrow and we are 4 points behind 5 teams on 31 points!!
  3. It doesn’t even take him anywhere but it looks amazing!
  4. They’ve hit the elusive 2 points a game. Fair play to them.
  5. Out of all the teams above us I expect Norwich, Sheff United, Blackburn and QPR to start dropping points. The rest will be our competition. edit: maybe Norwich are this seasons Cardiff
  6. Spot on. We’ve all known for a while he is too good for this league. This will be his last season here if we don’t get promoted. I’m sure of that.
  7. They’ll come to some agreement I’m sure. Hopefully it no longer matters to us because we’re not in the league.
  8. I disagree Tro. We needed better than routine. QPR were really up for that game and played well. We needed a good performance not a routine one. Routine was what we had for most of the season and in most cases opposition were poor and it was enough. Times when they weren’t we dropped points, Its good to be finally playing well whether winning or losing. Hopefully it continues. We should be playing well every game regardless of opposition. Wheather it blues or QPR. Poor performances regardless of the result should be exceptions rather than the norm. Anyway we’ve gone completely off topic now so we’ll leave it there.
  9. I’m getting angry watching this game knowing we drew with them when they had 10 men for half the game. They’re awful.
  10. Good to see Lambert back on the sidelines. Always seemed like a genuinely good guy. One of our nicer managers in recent times. They losing though.
  11. We treated it that way which is why we lost. No game should be routine which is why every game is important as the last regardless of whether it’s blues, Wolves or QPR. so is Chester playing?
  12. Come on mate. There should be no place in football for hatred. i actually dislike Liverpool and Man U fans more than bluenoses. At least the latter support their local team.
  13. I’m trying not to compare his interviews with the previous manager but boy they are worlds apart.
  14. Then that would be our biggest game of the century!
  15. QPR was massive. Win that and we comfortably sit in top 2, continue momentum and put massive pressure on the teams trying to catch us up such as Cardif and Fulham. I get what you are saying in terms of it being a massive game as a one off event, an occasion. In that respect I agree. I’m thinking in terms of the bigger picture and achieving promotion. I would rather lose the next game if it meant we went on to win the next 3. Wheras Blue fans would probably happily lose their next 3 if it meant beating us. You see the difference? For example Wolves last season was a massive game and a great occasion. But looking back I would have happily lost that if we went on to beat QPR, Bolton and Hull. That one big game took it out of us and for for what? Wolves went on to piss the league anyway. End of the day it’s all about opinions mate and I respect and understand why you see it as the biggest game of the season. For me it’s just another big game that we must win to keep in contention for playoffs. edit: Chester should be returning. Thank god for that!
  16. For me the biggest game is yet to come. Last season it was QPR at home.(in the league). We lost 3-1.
  17. Maybe I shouldn’t try and speak for fans. For me it’s a big game but not the biggest game. Every game is as big as the last because it’s all about promotion for me. Not beating the blues. But that’s just me.
  18. True but I hope we never see the day that the biggest game for our fans in a season becomes beating the blues.
  19. Ha I should read it properly before posting. I’m sure there was another one about making other teams fear us or something like that. I think they could be being made up.
  20. I think he was decent in his first half season with us and ok at the start of last. Then he got suspended and Hutton took over. Around that point he seemed to turn to shit and has never really recovered. Don’t know if that was around the time he did Coleman over. He never got a run of games after that. He did have the odd ok game such as against Wolves though.
  21. But there is still a good player there someone and we’ve seen that in the past. He also played well last couple of games. The confidence is returning. Let’s give him another chance.
  22. Maybe for them. I’d happy lose to them twice if we still got promoted.
  23. Don’t rate Hogan but still interested to see if he can play a part this season and look a better under Smith. But if he isn’t playing it means Abraham is doing well so I’ve no problem with that. He has to wait for his chance and make sure he takes it.
