It was similar to our game against qpr in some respects. Whilst being behind we totally bossed the game and should have at least got a point.
From what I remember Leeds didn’t create too many big chances but thinking back they did boss the game and probably deserved a point.
I’m amazed at the faith fans have in our goalie after a couple of routine catches and saves!
Goalkeeper is the number one priority for the day the window opens. The sooner he is replaced with a top keeper the better.
I’d put money on the club lining up a new keeper to face Wigan on 12th January.
He has done well to keep his player and was looking the Albert of last season against Blues. A real shame he’s injured and hopefully not out too long.
On the other hand it’s a very good opportunities for a few players that can play in his position to step up.
I watched them at Elland Road. They were really organised and should have won. Got robbed by a blatant handball by roofe.
I see a similar pattern tonight where they will sit back and hit us on the break. We’ll have to be really on it to break them down.
Forest have lost 1 in their last 12 and unbeaten in their last 7 away games.
We need to try and break them down whilst avoiding the counter attack.
The longer it goes on I can see a draw. We need an early goal to force them to attack.
Keep in contention by Jan. By contention I’d say no more than 10 points off top 2. (Currently 9 points off so won’t be easy). Get Heaton, a new left back and a centre half and I see us challenging for automatic promotion.
I see Boro as a favourite for top 2. We are currently 8 points behind them yet it’s in our hands to be 2 points behind them by Saturday night.
Have to keep winning to keep in contention due to such a shit start!
I had written this season off but now it feels like it could be his last opportunity to work with players such as Grealish so praying he didn’t join too late.
If only we had Smith from the start of this season.
I don’t think the club can afford to let him improve and get used to the league. Replacement in January is a must and I’d be amazed if Nyland is still our number 1 come February.
Also are you really comparing the fact he has 27 caps in 5 years for Norway with 73 Premier league Appearances and 3 caps for England?
As things stand I’m confident we can beat anyone. I never used to have that feeling when Bruce was in charge even though we probably had a better team.
