He is full of shit. I don’t know how anybody can want Pulis and his brand of football promoted. I don’t care what nationality he is! Bielsa’s teams have been playing the right way for years. I think he is doing an amazing job with Leeds.

Millwall fans can say the same thing. It’s not something to be proud of mate. Its nothing to do with the size of the club.

I don’t think anybody out the championship really care about Leeds or Villa. Quite a sad state of affairs for both clubs.

That’s only surprising if you take the 9 games in isolation and completely forget about the clubs form up to the time he took over. You have been good all season so there’s no surprise your form is as good as ours.

They beat us and they go above us!! I have a feeling it will be a draw as will Leeds game. Not ideal but we then go on to win the next 7 it will be fine .

After 31 games we were second. The run in January was incredible and shot us up the table. I’m really excited with how we are playing at the moment but I think the end of January will tell us if top 2 is possible. As I’ve said before after the Leeds games we have 7 or so go games that we expect to win. Bolton and Swansea aside all of our other games under Smith have been difficult games on paper and I think we have done a lot better than we all expected. With Derby, Boro and Albion We’ve shown we can mix it up with all the better team on their turf. Something we couldn’t do last season. It would be hard to stomach if we now go and drop points to teams where we are expected to win.

If we accept that top 2 will need 90 points we can only drop another 17 points from remaining 75. (Unless I’ve balls my maths up again). That’s a real tall order.

It’s such bizarre goalkeeping. It’s literally the only place he could get the shot off!

I don’t think he has done anywhere near enough to suggest he is way to good for the championship. But I get him not signing for us until he knows what league we are in next summer.

I don’t think he is lazy or doesn’t care. He is just not a very intelligent team player. For their goal first he goes on a run and gives the ball away when all we had to do was keep the ball. Mcginn did the same but you can forgive him as he got the ball to then other end of the pitch. Then Kodija just completely switches off and lets Philips run past him. He even looks up, stops running, then it clicks he has left his man and starts running back. It’s like he hadn’t warmed up adequately and wasn’t switched on for the game at all. Its not good enough for such an experienced player.

The most exciting thing about this team is that is there still large room for improvement. Especially at the back. It can only get better! I can’t wait to see Smith in the transfer market.

Well not really because one was a cup game i know It’s frustrating but Bruce did bring in Abraham, Mcginn, Bolasie, Axel and El Ghazi. Yes he hung around too long but as an attacking threat he has left a hell of a team. So Bruce’s summer reign of terror was not all bad. Theres plenty of time to turn it around.

I get telling players to sit deep and get men behind the ball. But how do you coach being second to every thing and lack intensity. This was a mental or fitness thing. It’s goes beyond tactics.

That’s true but I could never understand the intensity of the players under Bruce. So many games we would be second to everything. That’s when I would question the desire or even fitness of the players rather than Bruce’s tactics. It never made sense to me why we so often used to be on the back foot in games. I don’t think he was getting the best out of the players.

New keeper will be a game changer. Whilst those that defend him will point out he is not to blame for all goals we concede, I don’t think you can underestimate how much a nervous wreck of a keeper will impact a defence. I can’t wait until we’ve sorted that area out. Good luck for the rest of the season mate.

We’ve all gotta start somewhere mate. He’s about 20 years older than Smith and he started off managing NOB’s! Let’s see Smiths cv after he has been around that long. I do think you’ll win the league though. We’ll finish second.

I think we could see Elmo and Hutton as full backs for the next few weeks. I know many will be happy with that. Bree is coming back from fitness and may live up to his potential under Smith. I cant believe we’ve now gone a season and a half with one recognised left back in the squad!
