Or we keep him and lose him for half the season again. He is an injury prone player. I don’t think he has managed one full season with us. I think we should cash in if the money is right and build a team that doesn’t fall apart without one player. -

I actually think Blues have some decent players. They massively under achieved last season. Its going to be a tough game.

I like VAR but it’s causing a serious problem with handballs. First the World Cup final and now this. They need to clear up the rules on handball!

To be honest I’m not that concerned about our rivals. I think they will all drop a lot of points. My concern is whether we can win enough games after the last few months.

Thats the stumbling block. No way he will take a pay cut to leave. Guess it’s loans until he is released. Another disaster of a signing, the kind hopefully we’ve seen the end of with a dof in charge of transfers.

True but you’re not going to know that at the start of the season. I think you have to take the risk with one or two loan players if they are much better than what you have. Just not have a whole team of them.

It was a poor result but if I remember the game it was disastrous defending by Taylor and Hutton for both their goals. Im not sure how much Smiths tactics could affect those errors. I think we look a lot better at the back when those two aren’t in the team.

I have to admit I used to defend Bruce due to the results but I can probably count on one hand the games I thought we played really well and were deserved winners. I used to think the players were just limited and to an extent that’s true (as the past 2 months have shown). But there’s no doubt Bruce had a defence first philosophy and it wasn’t much fun to watch.

Under Smith with Jack in the team his ppg is 2.22 and looking back over those games we still couldn’t defend and we should have beaten Forest and WBA. If we can repeat that form it would put us on 72 points which could be very close. its a long shot but it’s possible.

Probably Grealish. We’ll survive. I may end up being disappointed but I strongly believe we’ll start next season with a very good team and hit the ground running. Im excited.

We’ll probably get around 3 million for him.

It hasn’t worked for us but it was good for Wolves. They had 4 or 5 players on loan that they signed once promoted. I think one or two loans is ok if they improve the team.

Do you really miss parking the bus and winning by the odd goal on the break? I admit it nearly got us promoted. But it never felt convincing.
