    Signing a keeper instead of loaning Heaton means we now have a loan slot left for a left back or centre half. He may not be as good as Heaton but we can’t keep relying on loan players in key positions. Makes sense.

    Their new owners was the best thing that has happens to them in years. I don’t trust him. But he comes across as a saint compared to the last bloke.

    I have the same name number and badges on it. I remember sports direct website had a bug when you put a code in and got the lettering and badges for free. Only problem was I bought it a size too small and was never able to wear it or return it. @Keyblade looking for a size small?

    I don’t care who we play Jack is way to good for this league so we need him in the team ASAP. He is the equivalent of Leeds losing Hernandez. In that time they managed something like 2 wins in 10. He is crucial for us.

    Well he wouldn’t have to say those thing if we were in the top 2 as fans wouldn’t have turned on him. I personally don’t think there’s any excuse for a manager to ever have a dig at fans. Once he does that it means he can’t handle the pressure and his days at the club are numbered.

    I do too but I think certain players are not being as protected as much as Bruce’s everyone behind the ball and play on the break. Defenders are getting exposed for how good they really are..

    This is the first game I haven’t seen since Smith took over but looking at the games where we dropped points I think we should have at least got a point v QPR and Norwich and 3 points v Forest and WBA. That’s 6 points lost due to a combination of poor keeping and defending. Whether it’s personal or style of play our defence is a problem. It’s something that has to be worked on.

    I didn’t see the stoke game but sounds like they won the physical battle. I’d probably take a point against a In form Leeds and that will be the end of the very tought run of games. From there we have 7 games that are all winnable. That could shoot us up the table.

    I doubt it. Wasn’t we around 7th when he returned from injury. I think we had done ok without him until up to December though. He is a big player for us but hopefully he only misses a few games. If it’s a longer term injury then I still think looking at our late December / January fixtures we should be winning those games with or without jack if we’re serious about promotion.

    Forget the allegations. The club need to do their own review and then act how they feel is appropriate. I personally couldn’t give two shits about who is in charge of the reserves.

    If steve Bruce can have us in top 6 without jack for half a season then I’m sure we can cope. It’s a massive blow but also an opportunity for someone to step up.

    Exactly where I am. I love how we’ve gone toe to toe with teams around us. But It will all be for nothing if we go and drop points against teams below us. We’ve all see it before many times. Let’s get to the end of Feb before we start talking of top 2.

    Our defensive is not good enough right now. With a new keeper it will become adequate for what we need.
