We can’t but we can Improve the bench. Neil Taylor will be coming in to team unless Targett can avoid a yellow card in the next 5 games. Saying that the fringe players have shown so much improvement I wouldn’t be shocked if he came in and did a good job.

Pleasantly surprised by the improvement. He hasn’t put a foot wrong since coming in to the team.

Brilliant again today. What a goalkeeper. Our summer business must be the best transfer window in our history.

They were really poor today so expect a reaction from them. I hope we can get through this game without yellow cards for Targett and Mcginn. Really want us to be full strength against Man U.

Can you imagine the players we could buy if we got in to the champions league.

I think certain players will always start if they are fit and Mings is one of them. I doubt Hause would have a problem with that.

As we’ve all said many times. When super John Mcginn plays well so does the team.

I think he has shown how important a top forward is to a team. Not just goals but his movement, non stop running, hold up play. He is a real nightmare for defenders and brings wingers and midfielders in to the game superbly. Last season we really missed this kind of player.

I have to confess I was one of those that wasn’t convinced he was the manager that could take us to the next level. Boy was I wrong!

I think the players look a lot fitter and stronger than last season. We don’t lose the 50/50s anymore.

He is a confidence player and right now looks very confident. Probably enjoying no fans as well so doesn’t have to hear the moans and groans whenever he gets the ball.

I thought he meant the stamp and that he may have been lucky not to get a red at the time. Was silly thing to do.

He probably is. But will be interesting to see how both Konsa and Hause cope without Mings next to them against Chelsea. They did it well for 45 minutes with full backs staying back.

Contender for motm today. Fantastic defending. My only concern with Targett is him not playing.

Wow. We’re quite a good team aren’t we? Could have given a few motm but went for Watkins. With 10 men he lead the superbly. Did everything but score. Mings silly boy. He will know he nearly let the team down and apologise for it. Well done lads -
What excites me the most about this team is that it has the youngest average age of all teams in the league. With Jack at its core they will continue to grow together while continuing to add more players to improve it.

A certain fan on here doesn’t seem to get that. Wishes we had 2 Konsa’s in defence instead of Mings. Some fans just don’t know anything about football. Ain’t that right mate? @villalad21
