See any one else would maybe say his press conferences are boring. Maybe his lack of controversy or outspoken views can be boring But no, you go straight to saying the man is boring! Do you know him? Have you been for a pint with him? Ridiculous post yet again. He comes across as anything but a boring man!! What is boring are posts such as this one!

Pretty much sums it up. I would have said centre half but after seeing Hause the last two games and with the return of Engles it no longer seems a priority.

I was just messing about mate as you both have similar opinions that sometimes are contrarian. I didn’t mean anything bad by it so apologises if came across that way.

I like what I have seen of him so far. He’s a unique player. I honestly think a lot of views have been clouded but how unhappy some posters that follow french football were with the signing. Once you have that negative view of a player you focus on the faults and can’t see any potential. Takes a while to change.

The guy gets an assist and a goal and all you can talk about is how It is hard on Grealish. Regardless of what you think of Traore why don’t you let the guy have his day? Im sure Jack is delighted for him to be motm and in the team or the week. It’s shame some of our so called fans (or fan) can’t be.

I don’t expect improvement to the first team in January. But I don’t think we can add improvement to the bench. He will be a much better option than Davis if Watkins got injured.

Many on here aren’t impressed but I still think he would be a very good squad signing. Can play in several positions too.

Whilst there is room for a lot of improvement and he is extremely one footed. Football ability wise I think he is a lot better than Trez. I’m surprised anyone can think otherwise.

Crazy that Liverpool had 2.55 a couple of seasons ago and still came second.

Spread the games out a bit and able to feel our strongest team and I’d fancy us to win all 4. But with 3 of the games in 6 days and 2 of the games against the most expensively assembled squads in the league I’d very happy to take 4 points. Beating Palace and Everton are our best bets. -
With the way refs brandish yellow cards these days 5 in 19 games leading to a suspension seems very harsh to me. We will lose Mings, Targett, Mcginn and Jack for a game at some point over the coming weeks.

Looking at the fixtures in the new year it’s really difficult to see where they will squeeze the 2 games in hand in. Especially if we progress in the FA Cup

I don’t like the amount of games in the Europa but winning it is probably more likely than breaking the top 4.

I was saying to my mate before the game that VAR seems to have improved in the last week or so. Especially after the Son goal. Then this happens. Seriously what are they seeing? As for Watkins as I said before I think he’s a quality player. Has really improved the team.

I agree mate. I’m more worried about what side we can actually field. Can Targett and McGinn get through palace game without a yellow. Mings and Jack are 2 yellows away from a suspension too. Barkley not eligible against Chelsea. Them you have fatigue with 3 games in 6 days. Chelsea and Man U have very strong squads so can deal with it better. Hopefully we can beat Palace and take it from there. Tricky week for us.

Bit crap we’ve got Chelsea and Man U over the busy Christmas period. Both teams have very strong squads so will be able to rotate. Mcginn and Targett both a yellow card away from a suspension too. I would love us to be full strength v Man U. Really think we could do them. Keeping on topic, well done Smith, doing a cracking job.

Villa player written off by fans makes one and scores one. Guess they’ll have to wait for the next game to criticism him again.

What I do think is the club aren’t standing still. They will be constantly planning to improve us whenever they can and continue to do in a prudent way. Well that’s what I’d like to believe anyway .

I reckon we’ll try sign a couple to help strengthen the squad. Be surprised if manage any big signings. Saying that there’s a lot of games between now and end of Jan. Any long term injuries and the transfer plans change.
