  1. Tbf we let players off all the time for being played out of position, he’s a winger yet seems to spend most of his time as a 10. He just doesn’t look right there.
  2. Looked ok today but is absolutely dumbfounded when someone plays a one-two around him. Leaves him standing still every time.
  3. Him, Luiz and McGinn from now on please.
  4. I think we learned a lot today from how Liverpool play. If you can’t score, just dive for penalties.
  5. Comfortable win. 7-2 Villa.
  6. I have one boss and one gaffer
  7. My Mrs and my boss are both Liverpool fans. As you can imagine this fixture has a lot riding on it for me.
  8. Mings to score the winner and knee slide in front of Grealish.
  9. I’ve heard him mention player shortages a few times now. Amazing really when City’s B team could compete in the league.
  10. It’s a favourite move for Pep.
  11. I think he’ll get minutes against Palace.
  12. I said when we had him on loan last time, that I thought he’d make a decent dm. He does carry the ball well, and he’s quite agile for a defender. I’d rather him there than Ashley Young.
  13. That’s true. I hope he doesn’t end up too strict and alienating the players. But if it’s the case that someone isn’t putting in the required effort, I don’t believe an arm round the shoulder is the best course of action. As you say, it depends on the player I guess.
  14. I hope if any of our players take that attitude, they’re quickly moved out of the line up. The money they’re earning I expect them to do as the manager says. Fair enough if he’s going overboard, but giving them a bollocking if they’re not pulling the same as their team mates is to be expected.
  15. I think it was the final nail in the coffin. He left shortly after if I remember correctly.

    Next manager

Would we be able to sell the project to Conte?
  17. I’d be ecstatic if we could just go 4-3-3 and play Buendia and Bailey either side of a striker. They’re enough to play as we did last year in place of Jack and Traore.
  18. It can go in off the refs arse for all I care, I want a win.
  19. Same team as Wolves, go 4-2-3-1 when /if we can bring Bailey on. I fancy us for this. 0-2.
  20. But we’ve played 9 different teams than in the 19/20 season.
  21. I agree. However the problem with the two together is that too many attacks are breaking down, Ollie in particular is wasted in this formation. We’re losing the ball too easily in the final third.
