    If we’ve basically got no restrictions anyway, then what’s the conversation about? The change on the 19th shouldn’t make a difference. If not now, when? I know the government are saying no restrictions again but that’s clearly bullshit if things start to go awry.

    Just looked up to see what type of reds they were, one of them was for elbowing Ashley Westwood in the back which I’m sure a few fans on here would get enjoyment from! I think Smith will be mentioning it in his first briefing anyway, it’s not something our outfit will be glossing over over.

    I completely agree, except that the time for that is now. So as I said, it’s not the what that’s the problem, it’s the how.

    Encouraging people to take personal responsibility and responsibility of their loved ones because everyone has different levels of risk. I’m saying removing legal restrictions now is the right move, everything else is a complete **** up as is expected from this government. What would you do?

    Absolutely not, that’s what I’m saying. But removing restrictions while remaining vigilant yes. They’re taking the right advice and spinning it into a PR exercise.

    The Conservatives doing everything they can to squeeze positive PR from their decisions and making things worse doesn’t change what public policy should be though.

    What is it, 10000 to 20000 influenza deaths a year in the UK on average? Thats roughly 30-50 per day. So potentially around 3-4 times worse.
