Yep - its started to get worse by me (south staffs), the thing that points out that it may be a nightmare later is that the road at the end of mine which was gritted before 6 this morning is starting in to turn to an ice rink. Just seen a Chelsea tractor doing a sidewards ballet down it. Then again if enough people have stayed home it may be ok for those who have gone out, but it does only take one f*cktard who cant drive to screw it up for everyone.

my biggest gripe about it is that there it is so 'cluncky' to move between UI's (metro and traditional windows) and that their is no consistency between actions. To be fair its quite easy to make it run exactly like W7 with metro just as a part of the OS you can call to access apps. Really what we have with W8 is Micro$ofts way of pushing their tablet/phone OS. As M$ really missed the boat at start of the whole smart phone/tablet revolution what better way to get everyone familiar with their idea for this type of OS by forcing it on everyone (well not everyone but as windows is the widest used OS - 80%+). They needed to catch up and get people buying this type of tech with something on it that they make money from so there is an attitude of balls to everyone else (desktop users etc) with W8. Partly because industry is still in mid-flow of migrating to W7 and they know that it wont really effect that market at the moment.

Hi All, What tracking apps does every one use. I've been trying a variety of the last couple of months. Started just with mytracks, used a couple like mapmyride and endomondo but havent found a favourite. I've seen someone says Strava, i've never used this. What do people think?

I used android-sale to by a cheap Android Pad. About half the price of a similarly spec'd pad. I just asked them to enter a nominal value on the shipping info and it came through without any import tax. I would however check on forums that anything you buy is up to the task, as I had to do some modification to get a couple of things to work correctly.

I would have thought it will just take of as normal, the force propelling the plane is pushing on the air not the ground. The wheels would spin twice as fast so it may cause a bit of a problem on the bearings, so it may just crash horribly but it certainly would move.

Thankfully they turned the super imposed advertising off after 25mins.

Hey, I've got this coming up soon too. The first year anniversary is meant to be paper (or cotton - depends where you read) so maybe something along these lines. Maybe a ticket to somewhere.... my missus loves musicals (which I hate) so I think I'm getting here a ticket for a show eg. Paper. Its Easy and wont break the bank. The other thing you could do is a photo book of photo's from when you first met until now - again paper and not going to break the bank. One of these plus a meal out and your laughing!
