  1. Hi All, Time for some wisdom from VT! (well advice really). I got married 3 weeks ago, just got back from Honeymoon and started to review photo's from photographer. Well don't get me wrong there are some nice pictures however we asked for a few specific things that were not done! We'd discussed this with the photographers previously as we wanted them specifically for the album/storybook thing we're having! The things that were not done where: We asked for photo's for each table from the meal! We had sent specific photo's from the venues brochure which we wanted recreating but they weren't done! We asked for photos from the day to projector slideshow for the evening which I had to request on the day and only got a few! She said to my better half she hadn't done a pre visit to the venue and it was the first time she'd been there - very un-professional! plus a few other little things which are not really important but are highlighted by the others. So where does that leave me - To put it mildly we are both very pissed off about the omissions that we specifically asked for - if it were some other service which I'd had bad service from I'd refuse to pay/change supplier(or similar). But this is impossible in this situation (the other half already paid them and they've got all the photos). And now I have to speak to them to get the Album created and pictures need editing etc but I really need to point these bad points things out to her and still get her to do a good job with what we eventually get! What approach would you take with this!!!
  2. This. They need to register car and get a tax disc if they need/want one. If he's a dealer then he will be fully aware of this. He was probably wanting to claim the refund for himself. The couple of times I've bought cars through dealers they have never had a tax disc on and I've had to get one or negotiate for them to do it. Tell him to 'do one'.
  3. cheers for this. We'll be out on Saturday mainly as there's a plan for Friday already, so not ramshackle!
  4. into the rock end of the spectrum really to keep it cool for everyone going (for me the heavier the better). I think we'd want to keep the walking down to a minimum - more time for drinking that way. So which bits best? cheers
  5. Hi All, I've seen something similar before but can't find it now, Anyway have anyone of you got any good suggestions for a pub crawl / night out in Bristol. Eg. Where to start/route and where to end up!? And obviously where to avoid. thanks in advance. edit: by the way this weekend!
  6. I think I may just come back on Monday! Cant see anything but pure speculation until at least then.

    Amsterdam

Got to agree the dolphin is a good shout, also the Kashmir Lounge is pretty good especial weekend evenings for a smoke and music :-) maybe a bit of a walk but nothings that far in the dam (especially with a bike) One time we got the Amsterdam Card this and just visited as much as we could, some of the smaller art galleries were great. We even got the tram to the end on the line and visited a windmill - surreal. Other than that I think everything else has been mentioned.
  11. We improved season on season under MON We finished 6th for the last 3 seasons which isn't exactly improving season on season (excluding cup runs...). I know circumstances with other teams mean that this could be seen as improvement but we were in a position where a player that offers more than Emile could of given us more of an edge. Not to say Emile doesn't offer anything eg. what Fabio saw for England, just that it was the Wrong move at the Wrong time. Which for me makes it a bad signing.
  12. Heskey Was the beginning of the end for MON. If there had of been some imagination in that particular transfer window it could have been so different!!
  13. exactly - a bit of graft to cover the pitch last night may have seen it on. It was like they just gave up when the heating broke. At least it wasn't due to them not being arsed to clear the snow from round the ground like some clubs (bindippers) looks like another weekday trip up north then!
  14. I'm live up by the m54 and just done a recce up to the m6 and it didn't look that bad and its not snowing here now. Saying that a couple of my colleagues are stuck on the motorways around manchester. So could go either way yet!
  15. I'm happy until the end of the transfer window, then i will re-assess!! There's been no reason to be unhappy until now, has there???? The progress on the pitch is there so far. Lets hope we dont go into another season a bit short in places - surely it that isnt in the 5 year plan?????
