Very impressed with him last night ..... looked several divisions better than Ayew !

Gabby would be a great "supersub" ..... he can still hit it hard for 15-20 minutes but doesn't have the legs for even 45 minutes anymore. He was good for 15 minutes yesterday and then ran out of energy.

Richards has been good even surprisingly good this season. Wins 95% of every 50/50 challenge in the air or on the deck.

There was three minutes to go and the entire Palace side was in our half and pressing like pack animals. You do NOT bowl the ball out to your full back in that scenario. Amavi lost the ball but Guzan should have sat on it until the danger zone was clear and he could go long. 90% Guzan's fault in my books !

The interview I heard midweek made it very clear that Gil was not fit for this one so hopefully next week.

Stay real guys ..... if Gabby had scored the two decent chances he had early doors we'd have strolled it and you'd all be reaching for the box of tissues after what would have been a great result. A draw would have been a decent result and we had it barring a suicidal moment from Guzan. Good win over Notts County and good win against Sunderland and we'll be fitter and starting to roll.

Palace are a decent side and a draw would have been a good result. Decent first half, wilted in second. Guzan at fault for the goal, Gabby was garbage and should NEVER start another game !

He will only sign Adebayor if he intends to play him because Adebayor does not and will not cope with not playing every week. I just don't see why he would sign a "must play" forward when he already has to juggle Ayew, Gestede, Kozak, Agbonlahor and more. I fancy he might do well but I still think this is a personal spat between Sherwood and Levy and he's just playing games in the same way as offering £1M for Lescott was simply revenge for the Baggies offering £2M for Clark.

Surely every player you have an "attachment to" was once a new player to whom you had no "attachment" !!! In my books, if they wear the shirt then they get my support whoever they are.

Guzan Hutton Richards Clark Amavi Westwood Bacuna Gueye Veretout Sinclair Gestede I'd prefer to see Cissokho or even Baker in the back four rather than Amavi who I think will get destroyed at Premiership level for the early games. Need boring resilience and experience for this one rather than anything more lightweight. Would take a draw, could win with an early goal and parking the bus but fear 4-1 to Bournemouth !!!

Concerned about Amavi as a left back ........ okay going forward but defensively all over the place and too often off his man or wrong side of his man. Hope he learns fast or he will leave us horribly exposed !!!

Need an established and experienced front man for definite and Adebayor will do just nicely ..... as will a loan deal rather than a full-on signing. Come on Villa - make this happen !

You're assuming he wants to leave though. Why would he insist on an £8M exit clause if he wanted to stay ?!!! £18m maybe but £8M ?

If all of this release clause stuff is true then surely the fans have been mugged by the news of Delph signing a new contract and being "Mr Loyal" because he has basically done nothing more than agree a contract that says he'll play for Villa until any club makes an offer for him and then he can leave !!! Hope I'm wrong here but Mr Delph could become a very unpopular person if he gets this wrong !

Been amazed at the utter garbage I've seen from many - not just a few - on here and elsewhere. People getting slagged off just for asking/begging for tickets. Others slagged off for daring to sell a spare ticket to the highest bidder or for profit. Some of you are on another planet !!!

Everything points at a minimum 5-0 thrashing from the Gooners but my dreams keep repeating a 0-2 half time and a 3-2 win at the end with Jack Grealish doing a Ricky Villa through the Gooner defence to bag the winner in the fourth minute of injury time. At that point I leap from the top tier to meet my maker with the biggest grin on my face you've ever seen ..... look up when it happens !!!

Tepid and disinterested performance which was okay but why play key players and run the risk of injury ? Totally stupid team selection ..... should have played all the reserves who would have had a reason to go out and give 100%.

If it helps, I didn't buy up late season tickets and could have got tickets yesterday on my history but not on my daughter's who I wanted to come with me hence I gambled on waiting for today. As others have said and in line with the semi, a set number of blocks on all tiers are "opened" every morning so if you get in early then Lower Tier is possible otherwise it sells out until the next day. May have been fairer to open the entire Lower Tier from Day 1 but then they are bloody expensive so people would probably moan at not being able to access the cheaper seats ? Who cares .... just get there and enjoy something that many Villa fans will not be fortunate enough to see.
