  1. I'd love us to sign Scamacca based purely on Football manager and seeing other teams linked to him.
  2. Speaking from experience I reckon they'd love some of the civil service HR if they realised what spiteful, inflexible words removed they can be.
  3. Can't say I mind if it is Sunak. I'm surprised by how many of the literal man in the street I've heard slagging him off over the last week. There's clearly some big interests pushing back on him though. There appears to be quite the bot being waged saying every bad decision he made was to deliberately undermine Johnson.
  4. I guess the public supporters get the top jobs and all the fence sitters get minor ministerial roles. Declare for someone first and maybe you get chancellor, but you could miss out altogether if they lose. I didn't have a clue just how many jobs there are before the last few weeks.
  5. Is it normal for a big chunk to stay neutral just in case they ruin their chance of a ministerial job?
  6. Was due to air tonight, but it looks like it has been pushed back after the Uber stuff came out. The really sad thing for me is I know a number of people who are/were very senior in the forces and they would want no stone left unturned if there was a hint of this going on, yet these idiots online think it's sacrilege to hold anything British to account.
  7. SAS unit repeatedly killed Afghan detainees, BBC finds I did collect some of the more ridiculous replies to post and my phone decided to wipe them, so I can't really be bothered to try again. Just take a scroll through. It's quite hard to tell people from bot from parody.
  8. The response to the Panorama investigation into unlawful SAS killings is truly terrifying. It still blows my mind such a large part of the population are so stupid and being joined in droves by the morally bereft.
  9. I'm jealous they get to do 'shake that Azaz for me' while we'll be stuck on super John.
  10. Are you sure? Seems weird considering all summer contracts appear to end 30th June and he only signed his first pro deal last year. Surely you aren't suggesting it ends in January? There is so little detail online about his contract I'm interested to know where you got this info. edit - transfermrkt suggests we have an option to extend it to 2024, although they've already stitched me up once this week so I don't know if I can trust them.
  11. I was thinking the other day it's weird that the Ripley book series haven't been adapted into tv after the various attempts at movie adaptations. It turns out there is one in production that will be airing this year with Andrew Scott as Ripley. I really hope they get it right as he has a lot of potential in the role, although is a touch old for series 1!
  12. Prodigious?! Prodigal means you piss money away, which I guess most of these players would do too. Unfortunately it is just the way of things. I'm sure we didn't give Northampton a 2nd thought when we poached him from their academy.
  13. Tribunal fees to European clubs are derisory anyway, hence why West Brom fans were so mad when we got Barry because they saw it as a cheap workaround...and Barca never even paid them the small tribunal fee did they?
  14. We've got quite a few now, mostly joining us after having been at Exeter. Then of course we have Tyrone Mings from the right side of the border.
  15. I feel like most of these 'ITK' tweeters just rip from forums to add some credibility with a large part of the online fanbase to generate as much engagement as possible. Is your sister the agent that told you?
  16. They pop up now and again when there isn't quite so much unforgiveable behaviour to have to justify or ignore. There's still not normally that much substance, just a flippant remark about 'lefties' being unwashed and jobless.
  17. I agree that feet ruin it. Completely rules it out for Hot Dogs or Legs.
  18. I think it's more that a back up left back on loan just isn't particularly exciting, however sensible a signing. I don't remember anyone going mad with excitement when Olsen signed on loan in January either.
  19. 'We just can't afford to support any more refugees' they say as they wank themselves silly over the thought of using millions of pounds of fireworks to take out rubber dinghies full of children.
  20. As someone else alluded to before, one of the things that has impressed me most about Digne is how willingly he has bought into the club and seemingly instantly become an influential figure in the squad.
  21. If Twitter is anything to go by all most Conservative voters care about is trans people, Rwanda and increasing carbon emissions.
  22. I don't think there is any chance we sell McGinn.
