  1. take alby off he has been shackled by the tactics and looks utterly shit and out of all confidence he is not a covering right back
  2. all i can hope is anichibi dont get up again after that, and im not happy saying it. we have a couple moments of decent football hidden in a pile of shit
  3. give him it in the 6 yard box and he will normally do to damage, take note ginger clunge, hooooooof 35 foot in the air doesnt work
  4. well that is BS for a start, given magnificantly saved a bullet header from saha and then did the same again when warnock tried his best to score an own goal, both clearly on target and both against us. gabby has had a shot which was well saved, i cant remember any other saves their keeper has made but i did miss about 4 minutes of the first half so far everton have passed it better, controlled the tempo of the game, looked in control for the majority of th half, had better posession, looked more dangerous and look far more likely to score take a look at alby if he stays on for the second half, EVERY time hutton goes forwards, alby has to go back to the half way line, i thought it was just once but it was pretty much every single time. and what did hutton do with the ball at least 5 times when he went fowards meaning alby had to go and defend? he over hit a hopeless pass great i can only imagine we have no one available in midfield which is why clark is there, and also no other options for defence which is why hutton and collins are still there? the same 4 or 5 GC family members making comments that nothing is down to the GC, what a suprise that players who have been poor all season is nothing to do with the manager that the way they play is nothing to do with the manager this is just what a twunt the ginger clunge is he has set the team up to try and avoid at all costs a defeat as he doesnt want the worst record ever as a villa manager, he dont give a shit about the club or the team he just doesnt want that record hanging him out to dry. **** the crowd who showed up today, **** all the other fans, **** them all all he cares about is not having the 5 losses in a row at home selfish tallentless mother ****
  5. hoof hooof hooof hoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooof this is piss poor mind you the normal members of the GC's family will still be defending the style of play
  6. only we can have a throwing 5 foot from their corner flag and manage to pass it all the way back to the last man in our own half. is this the attacking football we wre told the GC was bringing?
  7. i also presume albrighton has been told he is not allowed to go fowards if hutton comes past the half way line
  8. i can only presume everyone else is injured otherwise why the **** is there collins and hutton on the pitch ( i know we are limited who who to replace warnock)
  9. same usual suspects trying their best to **** it all up hutton collins and warnock
  10. What you describe as the decline of th club could just be steadying the ship to prevent the decline of the club. I have said this before, but unless you are aware of the personal objectives / KPI's set for Faulkner by Randy then you have no idea how he's performing. You don't know his remit, therefore I don't understand how you can say he's the problem.you're entitled to an opinion on what a CEO should do, but ultimately the CEO is charged only with satisfying the shareholders ....in this case Randy. I'm certain if Randy wasn't happy that progress was being made he'd ave moved Faulkner on. within a wee or 2? of his appointment, MON walked, infact i still remember the photo that was put on here, 1 hour after news broke it showed faulkner shaking hands with randy as randy was just about to board his private jet, faulkner was laughing. GH was given the job after we chased him and got him out of his part time job for the french we moved mcdonald from the great job he was doing and forced him the manage the club, something he clearly did not want to do we purchased stephen ireland when we didnt actually even have a manager we get through the season and things look like the huge uneducated gamble may pay off as we can see that despite GH being a PR nightmare and falling out with 50% of the first team playing staff, he DID play football in a manner which was both pleasing to the eye, for the majority of it and also once the injuries cleared up and bent was signed, we started getting half decent results to go with the performances. but as we limped home but amazingly still finish in 9th place, only 3 off MON's best finish for us but then we get the hiring and firing of doctors saga, 5 doctors was it? the 5th being the one who said GH should not carry on, the other 4 said he passed all medical tests and there was no reason as long as he took it slow to carry on. GH was removed and paid off his contract, kerching. so we then have the whole entire summer to look for a new manager we wont be going for certain managers as Randy doesnt believe in contacting anyone who is currently employed without the owners permission as it is not the done thing. he then taps down ( yep thats right taps DOWN) the GC which costs us a further £3 million immediately then MON puts in his claim for wrongful dismisal or what ever it was, this is upheld and he also gets a large pay off so how much since faulkner came in have we spent on managers? how much have we progressed? how much has our revenue improved? what about our global appeal? our brand? from my untrained eye, i would suggest that EVERYTHING is downwards of where it was 1 day before faulkner became CEO so it doesnt really matter what the remit was unless of course randy WANTS the club to go downhill, because since his appointment that is all that this club has been heading, downhill. now randy has to take responsibility for that, his business decisions have been poor, well 1 was and that was to appoint faulkner in the position he holds. unless of course someone thinks he has been succesful? if so, please could you show proof of his success? anyone could get the wage bill down through natural waste, plays contracts ending and players moving on so that doesnt exactly take any kind of skill. all the players whose contracts ended last season or at the end of this season are NOT down to faulkner cutting costs.
  11. You're contradicting yourself there. Mr.Lerner hired Faulkner to stop the silliness, which he did, and you have then labelled it as the start of the decline the sillyness started BEFORE faulkner, the DECLINE came AFTER the appointment of faulkner and turmoil throughout the WHOLE club, i dont see i have contradicted myself in any way?
  12. it made me chuckle GC stands for the ginger clunge aka AM
  13. this is pretty much the thing which gives me any kind of positivity, the youngsters dont get to go anywhere near the GC, they have good, honest reliable sensible coaches and trainers, showing the boys how to play the game to their strengths and also how the game should be played. players like gardener, carruthers, johnson , the problem is they need to be getting into the first 18 and most dont get the chance as the places are being taken up with people like heskey and hutton who are getting 10 times the wage at least at least if they play a couple times in the first team they will still be under the same coaches and no where near the first team coaches who will try and beat the skill out of them. im proud of our youth /reserve set up
  14. and i think most of that was down to contractual agreements to do with improving the training ground Randy came in and there was a huge feel good factor, i loved it, it was a great time to be a fan, it was unusual to not have to read about contractors being told to stop working on the training ground until doug could shuffle some money around to continue the works. he has not been a bad chairman in my eyes, however as a business man he has been poor for aston villa by letting a manager dictate who gets paid what. the manager will get away with what they can and it was down to randy to stop the sillyness. i also have no problems pulling money back, it makes sense ( and i dont mean in the doug saving for a 'war chest' type pulling money back) but the stupid decisions keep coming, employing faulkner was the start of the decline, within 2 months of him being promoted the whole club was in turmoil. then letting faulkner decide who the manager should be, jesus christ. now the apparent change of kit manufacturer, which in theory should be nothing, however when you add it up with the rest of the clearly stupid decisions you just known it will go the exact same way. making the club both on the pitch and off the pitch weaker and more of a joke. turning us FROM a global brand, into a local team brilliant, yet another stupid idea. randy needs to **** off these idiot yes men, find another investor to share the burden and to employ a couple people who know football, know what it is about, know how to deal with agents. then leave the shop and the burgers to faulkner, where he belongs.
  15. do you think the wages paid themselves? i never said they did, i already covered wages in my post. do you think the only revenue we generate is through a tv deal?
  16. just for the record, randy has invested £32 million pounds over 6 years in our squad, that works out at spending £5.33 million per season on players that takes into account buying and selling hardly huge personal investment and throwing away money. he is a business man and it is understandable to want a return on the business, but lets not get carried away with how much he has spunked away on players since he has got here. we have recieved a minimum of £30 million per season since the signing of the new premier league sky deal, we also signed a decent contract with nike which greatly improved out standing and branding throughout the world. this no doubt helps with other spin offs as it puts aston villa as a brand, at a premium. the only negative financial wise i can see is the lack of shirt sponsor for 2 years and the high wages. both of these are decisions made by the board for the club to be showing such huge losses as shown in the yearly accounts would in my unproffesional opinion show that there is mismanagement throught the club. the training facilities had already began and were underway when randy took over the club, he improved the already existing plans and also did some other nice PR touches which cost him a couple million here or there. however he bought the club for a knock down price so that should reflect the additional 30 milion or so spent tarting the place and training ground up and we now want to cheapen ourselves further with macron? oh my.
  17. that would average out that you pay just over £2.00 per 'designer' shirt you flash git
  18. it lists basket ball, maybe they sponsor the major teams in the NBL? nope not one baseball? they list baseball so they must have some shit hot teams they are associated with? Whilst I see your point, it's worth noting that in the NBA and MLB the league negotiates a deal for one company to provide every team with its uniforms and all other fan apparel. The NBA deal is currently with Adidas and I think the MLB deal is with Majestic. I don't think Macron has any representation in US sports. on their web site you would think they would be rolling out all the selling points and all the successful teams and sports stars they are associated with there isnt any they are clearly a budget company, the teams who are under them support this.
  19. i hope he gets better, when you watch some of his skills for wigan, even for newcastle, he was exciting, it is as if he has an eye problem at the moment, instead of going round players and looking for the space he runs directly into a group of players and loses the ball. with his skills he should be getting into the penalty box on a very regular basis, how many penalties have we won this season ? 2 being the answer , not many, and that is due to the wingers not coming inside and driving for the 6 yard box. the talent is there but like other attacking players at the club, he is not being used properly infact the only forward who can benefit from the current style of play is gabby and that is only because of his speed and can chase down hooooof
  20. I don't give a **** if the ball is 100ft above him he should still try his hardest. I don't see his fellow forward Gabby suffering from this Billy big bollocks attitude of if its not put on a plate for me I ain't trying. He could learn a lot from Gabby in terms of work rate and attitude and getting yourself involved in games. It was inevitable he wouldn't be getting as many chances be that due to the manager or the loss of Downing and Ash. He needs to get his head down and give his all for the team and stop thinking of number one. Lets not forget has missed a few good chances this season as well by the way. i understand what you are saying but you have to look at each player individually, gabby is all about the energy, not the finishing, if you wanted 1 player at the club to be in a 1 on 1 with the keeper in a cup final who would it be? it wouldnt be gabby, it would be bent ( i presume as he is by far our best finisher). you wouldnt expect messi to go in on heavy 50 50 challenges with 2 6 foot 3 defenders every time and then claim he is not putting in a shift would you? some players have obvious stronger [points, it is down to the manager to get a team playing to the players strongest points, otherwise you would just have 11 random people on the pitch running around none stop for 45 minutes each half. thats no good to anyone. bent is not an energy player like gabby who will run and run all the time, chase down lost causes and so on, he saves his energy for clever movement, his concentration is more on anticipating where the ball may come, how to lose a player and so on. getting players to go for every ball all the time results in players such as albrighton giving away foolish fre kicks time after time, he is an energy player but because he is still learning, he hasnt worked out that he doesnt need to try and chase, tackle, jump.. for everything. the best players use a mix of physical and mental skills, it is what makes them better than someone who just looks up into the sky and jumps for 9 out of 10 35 foot high hooofs and then when the couple chances do come your way in a game, your too knackered to put them away. a prime example... emile heskey it is all down to who we have on the pitch and what their strengths are. you also wouldnt put barry bannan in goal and as long as he tried for every ball it doesnt matter he let 8 in each game. this is why i can understand bent not being willing or percieved to not be willing to chase every hoof, to jump for every hooof and so on.
  21. qpr will gamble this transfer window, fernandes said that if qpr fail then he will walk away, he will not want to walk away so will do as much as he can to keep them up, if it means buying the best players from the clubs around them, i wouldnt be suprised. i want bent here, we deserve him, he doesnt deserve the tactics or style of play he has been forced to play under. it looks like he isnt trying in most games, i wouldnt if all that i saw was the ball 35 foot in the air and 2 defenders around me 9 out of 10 'passes' to me.
  22. i have a feeling it will be like that throughout the world, hardley anywhere to get a top, no matter how good or bad it has been made. there is no market awareness for this brand and no one recognises it as a proper brand or associates it with anything or anyone of any success what so ever. nike on the other hand, people think... ronaldo michael jordan tiger woods ( was a good brand at one stage ) roger federer nadal football teams including brazil, france, portugal, holland club teams such as barca man utd arsenal paris st g inter milan juve porto athletico madrid werder bremen psv boca juniors some of the largest clubs in various leagues throughout the world that is quite some list of success attached to them lets look at macron napoli bologna monaco there really is no point listing anyone else unless you want championship standard or alot lower which world sports stars endorse macron though? maybe there are some superstars we didnt know about who endorse macron? hmmm cant see anyone on their website they hint that they are involved at a high level in other sports. ah i though, it lists basket ball, maybe they sponsor the major teams in the NBL? nope not one rugby, rugby has some no traditional sports brands who do quite well so maybe they sponsor the best in rugby? nope baseball? they list baseball so they must have some shit hot teams they are associated with? ah, no they dont, unless you class baseball in italy, spain holland or france as being the best of the best? we then have volleyball and hand ball maybe there is sand castle building? but of course, it is not important that we completely disapear from the high street, our products can only be bought from the villa shop and all signs of our great club are hidden away as there is no distribution network , no shops willing to cheapen their own shops with a lesser brand. not even under doug did we stoop this low. if it were a one off thing but we had a good manager and were high up the league it wouldnt concern most of us as much, it would be innovative and a gamble and no doubt because a youngish or not know about company wanted to smash into the football shirt industry and attach itself to a successful young team. unfortunately we are not successful ( i think most of us would consider staying up almost a success which is how far we have fallen) there can only be one result from changing from nike to macron, randy looking to sell and this offer was the first one to come up, because even someone as stupidly inept as faulkner would see that it will create a huge deficit in our merchendise, our brand, our whole club. it is almost as i have suggested several times already, randy watched trading places and decided on how to make a good club into the laughing stock shittest ran club in the shortest space of time. at least having such a dramatic fall from popularity would then have some sort of explaination no matter how ridiculous. maybe they are trying to use it for the reason to sell bent? " well the fans wouldnt buy the merchendise so we had to sell our best players and its all the fans fault" a ginger twunt was heard to say
