  3. I found 4 MAJOR bugs in my first hour of gameplay. The butt stomping is fun, but underwhelming imo. I for one am going to wait for patches for the bugs before I launch the game again.
  4. FFP doesn't allow this anymore. Sorry, but that just isn't true. FFP is not as simple as some headlines make it out to be - although a lengthy and possibly boring read, this might help with your understanding of FFP http://www.uefa.com/MultimediaFiles/Download/uefaorg/Clublicensing/01/50/09/12/1500912_DOWNLOAD.pdf EDIT: Found this site which makes it MUCH easier to understand!! http://www.financialfairplay.co.uk/financial-fair-play-explained.php Yea the very link you posted proves his point The premier league rules are pointless. What the point of spending PL FFP money if you don't reach Europe and then are under Uefa rules? Answer = Zero Well, the first link explains what counts as incomings and outgoings for FFP purposes. It is NOT just a club's balance sheet, a lot of expenditure is not counted towards FFP at all. Add to that the fact that a club can lose 45E mil over 3 years and not face any sanctions .... getting back into Europe by spending big and not getting fines is clearly possible.
  5. I'm not sure how you can claim it be short sighted when a lot of the criticism is down to the last 2 years. Some is, most is about lack of shots on target etc this season though.
  6. Almost as short-sighted as forgetting that last season ever happened and that the football has improved because we had one good half against Hull. I thought we looked fairly good until Tekkers and Kozak got injured to be honest.
  7. Hey, HEY, no-one is sick of seeing my Cards late in October
  8. Yeah but... "The film will be directed by Oliver Parker, who made Johnny English Reborn, St Trinian's and Othello starring Sir Kenneth Branagh. The script will be written by Hamish McColl, who wrote Johnny English Reborn and Mr Bean's Holiday." From the BBC article. Shame. Well ... feck. Saw the cast and got excited before I read this post.
  9. Gotta call this what it is... Bollocks. +++ The troll requires no further feeding. About as funny as Sunday mass, and to think, all that effort. Ahhhhhhhh. Much better. I can sleep at night now.

  11. A fair point on being at the top.

  13. Does it annoy anyone else that this is tagged as 'coaxhing' and not 'coaching'?
  14. If Randy is not selling now (which seems possible) - then effing man up and double down ffs. Give Lambert a decent war chest just like the MON days and we will claw our way back to where we do belong. Also, I think appointing Fox will turn out to be a masterclass appointment by Randy.
  15. New things look very meh. Still on pre order though. What I personally really want is a much more interactive match engine that immerses me into a football match. Many years away from that I suspect though.
  16. Pre ordered (as always), looks great - hoping that the turbo cars won't prove too much of a problem coming out of the corners!!
  17. Um why is the console vs PC debate even here? It's not even close lol. A PC of comparable price wipes any console with no problems at all. On topic, the combat system is great, but the movement just feels 'clunky'. Perhaps I need more time in the game to get used to it though.
  18. Scared the living crap out of me. Hid in a closet for at least 3 minutes and nothing happened.
  19. I don't agree with a lot of the criticism on here about Lambert's tactics. Fairly short sighted and based on the last few games it seems, especially when it comes to tactical choices. Perhaps a quick reminder of the stats against Hull (our last game not against the top 4 from last year) is required? I could link it, but it shows 45-55% of the ball (AVFC-HCFC) more shots, and shots on target for us than Hull. Seems to me that we have defensive plans for the 'better' teams, or teams that play the ball well - but when we are playing against teams that don't carry so much of a threat, this year (so far), we have come out and played football further up the field and not sat back. I have watched this happen on a few occasions this year, and I think it will happen more.
  20. LOL I have been forced to eliminate some potential future issues. A friend of mine was so bored once he just threw 3 grenades into our hostage room while waiting for the thermal drill. Heartless pursuit of virtual Payday monies continues!
  21. I am indeed, it's Killvester. Will probably be playing more Payday 2 tonight, trying to complete some harder missions stealth style.
  22. Haven't owned an Android yet so can't comment on it's quality, hence why I didn't mention in my original post
  23. Got this on Steam last year - only just started playing it as I was put off by the ridiculous price of the DLC's. I have to admit though, it is a fantastic game - deep, satisfying, frustrating and incredibly addictive. Also, I stream most games that I play, and when streaming this I have been accused of being an executioner - just cannot risk those untied civs and their damn mobile phones.
