Yeah I have it added to my home page now (didn't know about that feature if I am being honest). Like I said before I understand the decision made regarding the cost/reward side of creating an app. I may also very well be in the small minority with regards to those willing to part with real life money for a VT app - I still would though!! Also, the data allowance thing is more pertinent if you (like me) are using a tablet. Clearly doesn't matter too much if you are using a mobile phone that happens to have a browser.

Mobile data charges (for me anyway) are ridiculous. Of course any potential VT app would need the interwebs to work however it will certainly not use as much of my data allowance as a web browser. There's also an extra tap included in the browser option. Disgraceful stuff

I understand the decision made. I think that an app (iOS/Andriod whatthefeckever) would open up Villa Talk to a wider audience aswell as stopping me from having to open up a web browser to opine when on the move. While the mobile site does indeed work very well ... in my personal opinion given the choice I would buy an app rather than go onto my browser everytime I want to check the forum. I admit the differences between the two would be nominal to begin with, however if you think outside the box there are many lucrative opportunities (games, advertisements, donations, sales of the app itself, merchandise etc etc). I admit I am not 'up to speed' on the costing to implement such an app but I do think it would be a step forward, certainly not a step backwards anyhow

Admittedly I haven't seen him play that much, but paying £30m for a 28 year old Fernandinho, not a regular in his national side, sounds a bit like Man City overpaying for a player. However, I may be proved wrong over the coming season. I think I am right in saying that cavani's ridiculous release clause expires 10 August. My personal feeling is that they will go for him after that date and not bother with Benteke - we are not exactly saying 'come and get him' completely the opposite from what I have read.

What statement? That hes not interessted in Belhanda Kendrick mentioned it, not Lambert. Wheres the quotes? Birmingham Mail stating that they 'understand' Lambert is not interested. If we are to believe what the Montpellier President said a few weeks ago, in that we had made a concrete offer, if the deal is dead I would assume it is down to wages.

Because he gave a previous manager 100m and he pissed it up the wall. Completely agree. Also, Lambert has already spent upwards of 30mil buying no less than 12 players (not including Guzan or Holman in that sum) so far. That to one side, I am fairly confident Benteke will be ours for at least one more season, and if we do get Belhanda who knows, maybe longer.

Villa fan since I was a wee lad. Only just joining the forum to get involved in discussions/polls etc but have been checking here for transfer rumour accuracy for a little while. Living down south these days but always go to a few games a year. VTID.
