Not to mention the constant running commentary we've had since kick off.. "Back to Guzan!", "Not back to Guzan!", "Keep it simple!", "Pass it forward!", "He's headed it", "He's kicked it!". They've also called Hutton Cafu about 30 times. Guessing you're there? Nothing better to do than post having a pop about fellow fans and posting it on VT? Maybe concentrate on the game.... Not having a pop per se but surely you pay to watch a match? If not the case then apologies. wow, let the guy have his moan. He can spend his ticket money however he wants. Also any match commentary is better than Captain Jack's match-timed ramblings.

The argument that lambert had enough funding to do much better assumes he had a free hand in where the money went and would have had access to the same money spent other ways. Maybe the assumption is correct, but I don't know one way or the other and I doubt many do.

I believe lack of investment is the biggest issue by some distance. Impossible to judge much else because of that. 6 points in August and I'll think lambert is great (again).

I think he has pace, touch, power. What he lacks is decision making, which can be coached. I was hoping it was a problem with the coaches that left as not many seemed to be getting much coaching. Still hopeful for him, but unless his decision making (and restraint, and AIM) improve, he's lost. Can Roy or someone else coach him effectively? Not yet they haven't and that becomes his fault. You have to be coachable.

Safe to say only Guzan will be in final starting line-up. If for no reason other than, they are starting here.

can someone investigate AVFC.co.uk ? For some reason, within the past few months 9 out of 10 attempts to open the site fail because "can't find the server" this happens in IE, Safari, and Firefox. I tried to e-mail the tech office at AVFC about it, but the e-mails keep bouncing back for the same reason. Is there some problem with the site from the States? Because I don't see anyone else on VT posting about it. Hard to use AVTV when you can't hit the site. if someone can find the problem and a solution, or even just forward the issue to the AVFC IT office, I would be quite grateful....

When a sale of an organization and the complete upheaval that portends is on the cards, EVERYTHING upper level people do is connected and relevant somehow. Every decision is impacted by the winds of that anticipated change. Trying to read from the decisions to see what the pressures were influencing those decisions, is very difficult, But I have no doubt the pressures of the sale played their role in PF walking suddenly. I wish I knew particulars of his contract, if there's a mandatory delay to him working for another club for example.
