  1. I'm not sure anyone's doing anything especially wrong there. 9 times out of 10 that ball will come where Targett and Axel are at the near post. Konsa is goal side as he should be which allows the near post player to get on to redirect the ball first. Toney in space is the biggest problem but he gambles on the cut back and has no-one with him. Seems we concede a lot of goals where it's just a run of bad luck.
  2. This Keir fellow just can't catch a break. Every time Labour proscribes a group there's a picture of him with them
  3. Do kids get vaccinated for anything else? But then a parent or guardian is making their decision for them, which is against their rights about what goes in their body. So we should stop feeding kids too.
  4. You could, but the chances are vastly reduced. Therefore it does stop all of those 3 things you said. Not a 100% stop but it still stops it. A coat stops you from getting cold. But of course you wouldn't wear one at any time because you'd be worried about it not stopping you getting hypothermia at -50.
  5. Yes it does Yes it does Yes it does

    Dogs...

Had our Serbian rescue about 5 months now. She's still really nervous and still doesn't trust me, unless we're both on the sofa where we're best friends. We couldn't get a lead anywhere near her. Every time resulted in her being so terrified she would wee and poo herself and one time started snapping. We had a hol booked for us all as our first dog holiday and there was no way we could take her so the rescue charity found a fosterer to have her for a couple of weeks to try and get through to her and break the negative rut she was in. We've got a dog psychologist we pay £100 a session to and he said leave well alone, give her space and let her find her confidence while some anti anxiety meds start to work. After 2 days with the fosterer she was on a lead and walking. Now she's back we've been able to carry on walking her. It turns out she just needs strong direction. We've always been confident with her just not pushed it far enough past her guard. After a solid week of walks morning and evening we'll try the car this weekend and take her to the park. Hopefully we're on the right track now.

    Dogs...

Sorry to hear this. Hopefully they'll find something they can sort.
  8. Unfortunately, I agree Probably about the most realistic also
  9. Would definitely have been an upgrade on either of Young or Carney on Saturday. Let's hope we have someone better coming in.
  10. Couldn't help feeling yesterday that if you took Ashley Young and Carney Chukwuemeka out and replaced them with Marvelous Nakamba and Conor Hourihane we would have controlled the midfield and won the game.
  11. It still blows my mind that Keir didn't kick the guy out of the party who shared a platform with someone who was literally responsible for a million deaths
  12. Yeah I got it backwards. You're right it's that way round.
  13. Not sure. I think I tried to watch it before and couldn't get anywhere but may give it another go now.
  14. Well this is awkward. How will he get out of this one? Turns out guilt by association is utter nonsense. Who knew?
  15. Decided to see if Curb Your Enthusiasm is worth the hype. 1 ep in and so far it's making me laugh. Bodes well.
  16. If there's anything on the C line then it's positive I think
  17. Very genuinely Impressive seeing the Brentford fans applauding Watkins. Some great fans on the train too. How it should be.
  18. This made me chuckle. Looks like the painter and decorator was checking what colour they wanted the dressing room.
  19. Oh and that run back by Anwar where he made up 20 yards off their full back to get the ball when they were clear was amazing.
  20. Wasn't impressed in this game. I know he's got the potential to play better but he gave the ball away a lot and was quite ponderous at times. That said, I know he's only 17 so he needs to be cut some slack. I just don't think he's ready for our first team.
  21. From a7: Martinez: 7 not a lot to do Cash: 7 dealt with most things well, couple of mistakes Konsa: 7 not much to do Tuanzebe: 7 see Konsa Targett: 8 much improved and dangerous going forward Luiz: 8 battled well and kept it simple enough Young: 6 not good enough for this level any more I'm afraid Chukwuemeka: 5 overawed and needs to be more committed for the PL Buendia: 8 dangerous and will get better El Ghazi: 8 best I've seen him play. All over them Ings: 6 tried but couldn't get into the game Subs didn't have a lot of time to impress but Nakamba was solid Ref was utterly shocking
  22. So it does. I think the 3 is a typo because the maths works for 2 billion. **** hippies and their typos
  23. Are we still ****ing the hippies and their maths? Anyway, isn't it 260,000 a day? Maths was never my strong point. 385*20=7700 2,000,000,000/7700 = 259,740?
