  1. Up the **** Villa! I reckon it'll be this at the start and Coutinho will come on about 60 mins
  2. I guess this is why the gov are still resisting more measures. In context, the vaccines are still doing a massive job of keeping a lid on it and things aren't as bad as they seem:
  3. Yougov any better? basically he's got the Lib Dem vote which is pointless because there are no Lib Dem Labour marginals.
  4. Attacked the left to chase a Tory vote that was never there and ends up turning everyone against him. Absolute genius move.
  5. There does seem to be an impending booster spike on the horizon
  6. I was there watching today. Different level from everyone else on the pitch.
  7. Not sure what could be skewed or misleading about these specific and uncontested statements:
  8. I think this accurately sums up the problem with Labour's current approach: the farcical but also sinister way they are targeting and harassing Jewish people for 'causing hurt to Jewish people' at the same time as they explicitly name 5 people who they think may have leaked the submission to the EHRC around party infighting, costing the party millions in legal fees is all just so amateurish. Perhaps deal with what was leaked rather than go after the alleged whistleblowers might help to move forward.
  9. The Tories almost literally burning the country to the ground and Labour fall further behind in the polls. Jeremy Corbyn must resign.
  10. Also, if Southgate was shifted off, I can think of someone who would be very near the top of the FA's shortlist to replace him.
  11. Southgate has ruined Grealish. All of the edge he had for Villa has been coached out of him since breaking into the England squad. Now everything he does is so safe. He never runs with the ball and never shoots now.
  12. It'll make zero difference. The establishment gaslight of 2015-2019 that Tories are the natural party of government is now so ingrained in 40% of voters that they'll vote Tory no matter what happens.
  13. Continuing the discussion around coastal towns where tourism is seasonal, doesn't go into the local economy and housing is largely lets or 2nd homes, I think the gradual but continuing use of tech to make commuting for the services industries redundant will sort a lot of that out. I will always work from home now and a lot of the IT industry is the same. So as soon the kids don't need to be based near to their current school I'll be doing my computer work overlooking a Cornish bay, buying a coffee from the local non chain cafe.
  14. Nobody's undermined Starmer. He's had justified criticism in the hope of getting him to do better. But he's nothing like the previous guy had with literally his own MPs campaigning for the Tories. This time, he's floundered all by himself and his own uselessness. But I agree, it's 2 parties in 1 that just need to split. That's what I meant with 'whatever it takes to get the Tories out'. I don't mean give the party back to the left. I mean hurry up and do the inevitable split up and create a PR pact and coalition.
  15. When do we short circuit to the point where the people who put and keep Starmer in charge recognise that it hasn't worked so they need to give up and do whatever it takes to get the Tories out?
  16. There's plenty of evidence of this one. He's been called out for it loads of times. Absolutely nothing about Diane Abbott. I've searched far and wide and not only is there no direct evidence of it being real, there's no evidence of anyone ever knowing anything about it until yesterday. I'm still sure it's fake. Unless you remember it yourself or have a paper copy?
  17. Yeah I'd love to know the back story because I'm fairly sure Abbott wouldn't ever voluntarily write for The Sun.
  18. I'm amazed Tanganga manages to see out 90 minutes with how aggressive he is. If they're fired up looking for a reaction he might be a risk for them.
