Well I won’t be paying for the pay per view games at all regardless of if it’s villa or not out of principle. It’s the beginning of the end i think with that method. Although am I right in thinking they tried pay per view games a few years back

Didn’t see any of the stoke game so can’t comment on his performance their but I like the guy I think he earned his place ahead of Engels in our squad. I agree he is limited in areas certainly when it comes to using his feet but I don’t think I have seen him lose a header yet or many 50/50 challenges. Might not be the next Franco Beresi but he seems a good character to me.

He basically does a lot of what Sancho does and done stuff he doesn’t but Sancho is worth £90-100 million and nobody really questions it other than Utd who think everybody should be sold on the cheap to them to allow players to realise there dream of playing for Man Utd. Really pleased for him. I think sometimes you can just see in a couple of minutes if players have that touch of Class with how they handle the ball and there movement around the pitch and he looks like he has that. been really impressed with the cup games and getting premier league minutes will do him the world of good. I think he needs to be permanently in the match day squad this season building up his experience and match minutes.

I would add Leeds and Sheffield Utd into the teams we are better than based on the opinion that sheff Utd will find it hard to keep up the levels from last year with an ok but slightly limited squad. Leeds I just don’t get why people think they won’t struggle. No real transfer window or time to prepare is going to hamper all the promoted sides as the transition is huge from championship to premier league. They haven’t signed anyone of note and lost there best defender from last year so in many ways they are weaker this year than they were last year and although they won the league it was a poor quality division compared to the last 3-4 years. The striker they have signed hasn’t got 70 career goals yet and he is 29 years old which suggests he doesn’t score many. The defence is pathetic so I think they will concede lots of goals although I thought there keeper was decent against Leeds. I also think Newcastle will he comfortably be ok this year too.

I think ball the promoted teams will go down to be fair this is a tough year to come up given the circumstances. Looking at Leeds the keeper is poor full backs not premier league quality, centre half Cooper not up to much and I don’t know anything about the new Center back. Phillips in midfield looks ok but didn’t think much to him for England. Pablo Hernandez was poor when he was young at Swansea can’t see him doing much now. Bamford not good enough and the new striker has Rodrigo is 29 and yet to score 80 career goals. credit were its due the manager seems excellent but the squad is so poor I can’t see them doing anything other than being relegated

A dire performance at the euros could well happen on Saturdays and today’s evidence unless the tactic was to play for a dull boring nil nil draw in which case it was perfect management other than a highly dubious penalty in the 90th minute on Saturday. On the upside the lad that came on with 15 minutes to go looked decent beating a couple of men and driving into the box

What we need is 3 Center backs 2 full backs and 2 defence midfielders that’s what gets results against teams like Denmark. Oh wait maybe we could remove at least one of the 7 yes 7 defensive players and put on jack who might open it up a bit

Anyone else feel Southgate changed the formation to avoid having to play jack. This guy really does make me hate watching England. He got a bye to the WC semi final and still blew it. Any manager worth his salt would find a way to get talented players into the team yet we can’t break Iceland down and our most creative sub stays on the bench

That midfield has got Rice, ward prowse, winks, and somehow Phillips (must have missed all his premier league debut) all of which are defensive midfielders and two more attacking midfielders. Says it all about Southgate what a joker. If I was jack I’d go and play for Ireland

Normally agree with not paying to much attention to players scoring loads of goals in Scotland but I have watched a fair bit of this lad and he is strong quick and can finish which I are still qualities that can cross the border. Plus I don’t see Celtic being able to turn down £25 mill so no way we would pay 40 at least not up front

It’s not, he is our best player by a mile and should be paid accordingly like he would at a top 3 club.

just reading Darren bents piece in Jack saying Utd city Liverpool won’t sign him and the only club that might would be Tottenham which always makes me laugh. Given Jose’s out dated tactics I think jack would be used as a fullback at spurs. to be fair to bent he did follow it up by saying spurs are skint so wouldn’t be close to being able to afford him.

Cairney often looks good in the championship I think the season they beat us he was the leagues player of the season. The problem with him is he Wanders and walks around way to much so as soon as he gets to the premier league looks so far out of his depth that I doubt he could ever make it In the premier and now he is too old as well

They want him on the relative cheap so they are going to try and wait till late in the window and try and pressure us and push jack to ask for a move. We need to stay strong on this we can’t have Utd messing us about and ruining any plans we are preparing in the transfer window.

I’ve already moved on from Sunday but having seen hearts and Patrick thistle relegated on points per game and given we would have gone down on that basis I hope the premier league or even better the whole of English football rule that out as an option ever again.

Agree we have averted him going to mid table sides like Everton Burnley Spurs etc but wouldn’t be surprised if Man Utd try some unsettling tactics to try and get him for A knockdown Price.
