Seems like a really good guy and i agree with most the abuse he got was unjustified. He wasn’t the best left back in the world but I don’t think you can criticise his effort. I genuinely wish him well where ever he ends up

Assuming Jack moves into the middle that would I imagine draw the usual 2-3?players to him perhaps leaving McNeil to whip quick early balls into danger areas for Ollie. How long has Wes Eden’s been involved at the bucks? I feel he is fully aware of how much money might be needed to see this through but I think there is a whole sustainability plan in the background but I think these guys know that it’s a fair way off right now.

Agree with this I think he looks a real player but a little casual at times which is perhaps a reflection of confidence and outstanding ability. I would like to see him a little bit more aggressive when not in possession to press and challenge the opposition

Agree on this point jumping ability, positioning and timing contribute to being good in the air. Hause is not as tall as mings but I would say better in the air. It made me laugh yesterday when the commentator mentioned el ghazi being a big lad which he might be but very rarely wins a header against smaller players

Agree with this, he was really on it and none of the casualness that usually results in errors. This was all business. Also a nod to the whole back 4 I thought they were excellent and fair play to Hause when ever he has been brought in I think he has done an excellent job and much improved like many others since last season.

At half time I at no point felt like we would have the concentration levels or grit to see out that game and like many others I felt the turn around was fairly inevitable. I also kind of expected one goal to be followed up with a second quickly because again it’s something we seem to do often which I would put down to poor concentration levels. We are not I promise you. I dip into other clubs forums to amuse myself occasionally. If you want to see hard to please take a look at the Spurs “fighting cock” forum they are 95% delusional with the odd fan that realises they are not a big club and are on the decline after over achieving by virtue of getting lucky that a world class striker came through there youth team. We on hear I think for the most part are fairly balanced and objective in comparison. FWIW i think smith is doing a really good job and we have progressed beyond belief from where we were when he joined us. I think next season will be interest to see if he and the club can get us kicking on from this year or if we slip backwards. If we skip then it’s time I think to look at if smith is our best option.

I think we need Tammy we also need a better winger and 2 midfielders although not Phillip billing as someone suggested. Add into that axel from united for £7 million that would make a decent start to getting depth in the squad. bear in mind with Ollie he could get injured burn out or lose form. If that happens we would be down to Davies and Wesley, neither of which are good enough to carry the burden of running the front line.

My only worry though is for next season will we beat Liverpool ? Maybe but history tells us we don’t very often. Will we beat Leicester away? Maybe but not very often do we do that. Will we beat arsenal bad as they are twice ? Possible but highly unlikely so on that basis the likes of WBA Sheffield united, Newcastle, Burnley, Leeds , Brighton have to be beaten otherwise the start of the season looks like what it probably was which is an anomaly and we will be back fighting relegation again. I think the is a huge amount of work to do over the summer player wise. I think early season results made us look further along the journey than we are but I feel our fall off since Christmas is more realistically our true level currently. I think we need a new midfield completely and a winger. That’s a big ask over one summer and given we have just bought Samson I’m not sure we will spend much more on midfielders which I think would be a huge mistake.

Already said it in here but I can’t have mings was unlucky for the own goal he should have been across to the guy before he got in the box. The reason he was in more or less the centre of the goal when he got the touch was poor positioning and it happens to often with mings where he backs off rather than closing the man quickly

On the baggies second goal was I the only one wondering why mings backed off for so long and let the guy get 8 yards from goal before pressing him. I don’t see that goal as unlucky I see it as poor defending
