  1. The transfer window was a sign of giving up to me. Also suso what’s the point in him
  2. Not just him but Jarrod Bowen too, looking at the players we bought in during the summer and looking at the business some of the other clubs are doing makes me wonder what Suso actually brings to us.
  3. to be fair that is a LOL firstly Spurs couldn't afford him now given how his value has risen, secondly providing we stay up i see our level rapidly catching spurs as they are clearly on the start of a massive decline and don't have the history or club size of say a man utd to keep the current team together without CL football which they are not going to get with Jose running the club into the ground. Lastly on Jose again i think Jack has a bit to much flair and creativity for a Jose side.
  4. I really want this guy to work out well for us and him. I think he is fairly solid defensively especially in the air but also solid in a tackle. Not always convinced by his positioning but i think with Mings talking him through that will improve and hopefully with ball at his feet the coaching staff will be saying to him just pass it simple or hit channels and turn the opposition, thats all we need him to do. on the whole i just really like his attitude and effort, when he wasn't even making the squad early in the season he didn't moan just kept on working.
  5. i just did the predictor for the rest of the season and i had Norwich bottom, Bournemouth 19th and Brighton 18th finishing on 35 points and us 17th on 37 points. That will make the last day visit to west ham far more nervy than i would like but i think i was completing the predictor with an overly pessimistic view. I do think that the likes of Bournemouth are likely to go on long winless runs between now and the end of the season. Brighton not beating us and then losing to Bournemouth could have a real impact on them. i just hope we can kick on from the last to games and with new players coming in and getting fit we can get some bonus results.
  6. To be fair we only have a transfer committee to blame. Average work in the summer was frustrating but 20 days into a transfer window when you don’t have a fit striker and nobody is in and the one guy you are after needs a work permit delaying things even further that is criminal. Watford will be the 5th game without a striker! Is any other team that much of a clown show. If we go down the blame is On Suso 100%
  7. Negligent from the people in charge of this club on the pitch. No striker for 4 games during a transfer window. Suso out
  8. If the coaches taught trez how to use his body to protect the ball he would be slightly better
  9. 2 shots in the whole game. This is pathetic and the worse thing is I expected it. Every game no shots from us plenty for the opposition regardless of its its Man City or Norwich. The players are poor and the manager is average. Not convinced smith will get us promoted again next season with out jack McGinn and mings
  10. I think the source being the daily star tells you all you need to know about that one however I would welcome Axel back in a heartbeat as he isn’t getting a look in at United
  11. Different class from jack as usual but also a nod to Hause I thought 2nd half he was excellent.
  12. I would change to a 4-4-1-1 with Grealish I’m behind Wesley or Kodjia (don’t care which one starts up front it makes no difference). Add to that we just need to work out tits off and run run run and maybe try going with runners too.
  13. Just watching Watford makes me realise why we won’t stay up. I don’t see is having the players to dig in, work there socks off and be hard to beat. At the moment we are not staying in games to even give ourselves a chance. Nothing irritates me more than Watching us allow teams to knock the ball around under no pressure. It’s amazing the mistakes players make when put under pressure and they get pressed into errors. Unless we up the work rate and intensity we have zero chance of stopping up.
  14. Last 2 and a half games scored 1 conceded 9. Pathetic and that 9 could have been 15 second best against almost every team in this league in every position
  15. Nature of the performance is what I find worrying. I would love to support a team that put the opposition under pressure, pressed and worked hard. Nobody can tell me that Fleck has more talent than some of our players but he works hard for 90 minutes. We do not, we run around but we didn’t work hard off the ball in or out of possession we just make it so easy for other teams at this level.
  16. The can’t be many teams who let runners go as much as we do. Off the ball we are so poor, we don’t press we don’t tackle we don’t go with midfield runners.
  17. Not sure what you see In Everton, they are down there for a reason and the reason is they have some poor players. Regardless of the manager they bring in unless he can clear half of them out in January and bring in a load then who ever comes in will have the same bunch. As an aside given what players they have how did they allow lookman to leave.
  18. I think we need to do what Southampton have just done in beating the teams below us. I think Leicester will be a really tough one based on last nights performance. Sheffield Utd will surely drop off at some point but fair play to them I haven’t seen evidence so far and also what a manager Chris wilder is (I rated him after the job he did for Northampton). If we win our games against the teams below is that will open up a huge gap. I’m already looking at the league and thinking Watford have given themselves to much to do. 7 points off safety with an awful goal difference. They are going to need to win 3 games without the others getting a point to get out which starts to feel unlikely. norwich I admire for what they did in not trying to bankrupt themselves but I just think their squad is too light and lacking in quality to get enough points. So I’m not fully writing either side of yet but I’m leaning towards the being 1 spot to fill. history is telling me it won’t be Everton but then I’m looking at the players they have and other than maybe richarloson and Davies I’m struggling to see to many decent players which given the money spent is remarkable but I’ve long felt their transfer business has been lazy.
  19. I thought he was decent last night. Not the brilliance we are often used to seeing but effective for the most part. However FWIW I thought the stand out midfielder was Kante by a mile
  20. I agree to a certain extent but I thought last night for large parts of the game the midfield wasn’t showing in the right areas and both him and konsa were waiting for movement and when it didn’t happen they got closed down very quickly.
  21. Given how many players we back and yet we stand still we would be better off getting some players out the ways
  22. Nope and I’m not sure I’d take £80 mill plus Alli given his rapid decline and form and increase in ego. For what it’s worth too Maddison is at Leicester former leagues winners. Mount at Chelsea league and cup winners regularly, Foden at Man City again regular league and cup winners. Alli at spurs a club that have won nothing. Jack is more likely to win trophy’s at villa than spurs.
