  1. have you played the second uncharted? it's the only one I have played. baffled at how you can decide tomb raider was better tbh. uncharted 2 is one of the best games ever made, streets ahead of pretty much everything else in the genre. third one is another massive improvement too
  2. you should be able to find someone in your local area who'll fix it for between £20 and £30 that seems to be the going fix rate
  3. have you played the second uncharted?
  4. AA definitely got a load of extra marks because of the branding. iirc i gave it 3 1/2 out of 5, which is what it deserved imo, and what most people wouldve given it had it not been a batman game i agree to some extent about some of the other titles youve mentioned. too many people are willing to give big games bit scores based on their franchise, but that's what we're seeing with arkham city too. it doesnt deserve anything close to perfect marks i have to disagree with your Assassin's Creed comment too. the first one was dire, but every game since then has been at the very top of the pile in the genre. that series and the uncharted series are the best things about gaming right now
  5. Just out of interest, why exactly do you say that? I kind of know what you mean but its not exactly 'average' is it really? its not average no, but some are going on like it's some kind of watershed moment. its essentially a third person button masher, with a few refinements its a good game, but it's not a great one AC2 & brotherhood, for example, shit all over it and aren't a million a miles away in terms of genre and execution
  6. just like the first one, this game is hideously overrated imo

    GTA 5

i agree totally with this. they're novelty games that very quickly become dull as ****
  8. had a ridiculous game last night, lost 8-5 against arsenal. never seen the likes of it, neither of us could defend for beans, and bad and all as that defeat looked, had i taken half of my clear cut chances id have scored 20... he managed to score with 8/12 attempts
  9. thats not what it says. If amyrhing its suggesting that those on big money will be replaced by those on less money
  10. it is. and mon used what he was allowed to up to a point where he was told to reign it in, and we all know what happened next
  11. im not talking about those players because they werent the ones that caused leicester the problems. huge, undeserved wages caused them the issues. same issues at celtic. same issues at villa
  12. im not talking about those players im talking about the likes of izzet and elliot on huge contracts over long periods like bobo balde's 5 year deal at celtic on £45k a week
  13. mon left leicester with loads of overpaid mules that had to be cleaned up in the years following his departure ask any celtic fan about club finances post o'neill and they'll tell you the same again, it's the same case with villa. that's hardly a coincidence
  14. at any club that martin o'neill managed, he held final say on all aspects of the playing staff from contracts to wages. and you've only to look at the financial trouble he left at us, celtic and leicester to see that it's a pattern
  15. theres a good chance the board sanctioned these wages because they were fully aware of what would happen, and did happen, if they refused to
  16. aye, not unreasonable in the slightest. and our wages will automatically drop to that level when players contracts are up
  17. its a much higher level than the conference, probably on a par with the SPL for the most part
  18. fifa's one of the few games i ever buy a retail version of, and wouldnt you know it, my online **** pass wont work
  19. when carlos is back match fit id like to see him get to partner dunne, but rather than drop collins id give him a shot playing in front of the back 4. he'd be worth bringing on for stan with 25 minutes left in a coupe of games to see how he fares. couple of reasons for this. firstly, he's got a decent engine, secondly he can tackle rather well, even if he does tend to go on his arse a bit. thirdly, since he'll be playing a bit higher up the pitch he's not likely to hoof as much. fourthly, getting caught out of position won't be quite as disastrous been saying for a couple of years now i think he could do a job there, and i stand by that. coz hes a **** liability at the back
  20. the ball doesnt always seem to hit him and go in. he's played almost 500 games and the ball has hit him and gone in 9 times
  21. its neither, its that he tends to pick up decent positions that he's ended up with so many own goals. someone like collins would never get so many, coz he's usually behind the play or sitting on his arse by the time the other team score
  22. paul mcgrath, signed from the league of ireland roy keane, signed from the league of ireland steve staunton, signed from the league of ireland kevin doyle, signed from the league of ireland dont write stevens off at all til he's had a season at villa park
  23. you'll be waiting everything needs to be built from the ground up. not just the code for the games, but the tools used to build the code for the games. activision apparently owned everything to do with the franchise

    Match Thread

Agreed, throwing away the cup last season was really disappointing so hopefully we go for them this year jesus the way some people go on about the city game you'd swear it was the final and we were playing their under 16s it was the quarter **** finals lads. against a very good city team, and we were just off the back of a serious run of injuries and very much fighting for premiership survival
  25. i dont think mcleish has anything to do with nzogbia's start, its just one of those things he'll be a big player for us in the near future once he's settled
