    honestly? who do you think has been paying the wages? net spend at villa for lerner? you need to add up all the transfer fees and all the wages, then take away the club income to find that out since lerner took over though, the spending on the playing staff alone hasn't been too far shy of £500m. now obviously, the club makes a few bob, but it runs at a loss all the same. where's the milner money? it paid for wages for terrible signings

    01/02 is still my favourite footie management game, purely because it nailed the balance between being involving and not ruining your life the older i get the less time i have to bother with the more in depth crap that they put into these games. the latest fm was good, it seems they made it accessible for people like me who havent really got the time to invest though

    a HUGE amount of footballers smoke. off the to of my head berbatov, barry and rooney all smoke it doesnt make much of a difference to someone who puts in the training that these guys do, it's only when they stop that itll come home to roost

    according to you they come along every few weeks that's because they do make up your mind they either do or they dont they do but it doesn't mean that they'll become great players, i enjoy watching their careers unfold right, so first you say great youngsters don't come along often, then you say they do come along regularly, but they dont often turn into great players make up your **** mind son

    i think its more that we had balance playing two actual wingers instead of having gabby on the wing

    dunne man of the match. looks a different player when he doesnt need to carry the ginger lump we were much better all round today in the way we approached it. still plenty to work on, but the signs are there to show the manager that his negative tactics will get us nowhere

    Yeah that'd be great.....another 45 minutes without a goal. if we lose this 1-0 but play like this for the rest of the season we'll be top 8 comfortably doubt there are many people who thought we'd have more possession and more chances than arsenal in the first half

    why exactly? ireland has been doing quite well imo, getting stuck in and hassling arsenal whenever they're on the ball. got in a dangerous position in the box too where their keeper got to it first no reason to take him off, least of all for delph That was a good example why a ball just a little too far past him? you reckon delph wouldve taken that chance? i doubt he'd have been anywhere near the play

    Indeed. This begs the question: why didn't we do this against Spurs, Swansea, Man U, Liverpool (to name a few)? because heskey and collins were playing
