  1. People's stupidity. Sometimes funny, sometimes just annoying. A girl at work was just talking to me about some show, 'Beauty and the Geek'? Never heard of it. Anyway, she was saying how in it, the girls had to name countries beginning with every letter of the alphabet. "They were all thick Americans, naming States instead of Countries. They were saying Alabama, Boston, Canada... Mind you I couldn't name a country beginning with 'A' for ages, but then I got Asia."
  2. That's a perfect way of explaining what I was trying to tell a blue nose friend of mine (altogether now) the other day. Gabby>Bent for me
  3. Because they aren't the same people, maybe? 'Fans' means lots of individuals, it's not one being
  4. It's too easy to sit here calling for McLeish's head. Don't get me wrong, I'd be happy to see him gone, but a massive factor for me is finding an avaliable, realistic replacement who would justify us sacking and paying McLeish and then trusting that someone new to do a better job. It's a bigger call than we all think IMO, one I can't see Randy making for a long time. If ever
  5. Blackburn's players seem to be trying for their manager, whereas ours don't, Chelsea apart. We have better players than Blackburn imo, but they at least give it a go, whereas we don't. Wrong Rovers :winkold:
  6. I think maybe he thinks 2-0 doesn't look too bad and can be swept under the carpet a bit easier than 3-0, 4-0. That was something I loved about MON (sorry to compare). Even when we were 2 goals behind I always believed we could still win with 10 minutes to go because we always went for it. He would then say he didn't really care about conceding a goal or two because you pick up the same amount of points. Sometimes it would work, sometimes it wouldn't, it was exciting McLeish's game plan doesn't seem to change from start to finish
  7. A shot on target feels like scoring a goal under McLeish. I dnno the stats for all games above but we had ONE today It is a joke. Spurs 1 Swansea (A) 2 Man U 2 Bolton 5 Liverpool 4 Arsenal 3 Stoke 2 Chelsea 7 Swansea (H) 1 A grand total of 27 An average of a MASSIVE 3 a game. Seriously, do I laugh or cry?? I don't see it as a problem. You don't need too many shots on target, it's just the way McLeish pla... Sorry, I couldn't keep that up. Those stats are shocking. Although what about the shots on target we've had against us? If they're stupidly low aswell it just goes to show how boring we play, rather than us just being over-run in games and incapable of creating chances
  8. I understand your thinking, but personally I would never wish a loss on Villa
  9. Clark at left back with Bannan on, yes. Can't agree with Gabby coming off though
  10. People who blow their nose like its on a par with coughing or sneezing. Its not. Its vile listening to someones snot gurgle through their nostrels, usually when I'm about to take a sip of tea at work. Makes me gag. A big word removed at work does it every ten minutes really loud. People do it whilst talking to you, which to me is just as bad as someone picking their nose whilst talking to you or burping in your face
  11. Christ, what a boring game. I think Charles is looking better and better with every game, I just want to see him get his first goal
  12. Alex? Get off VT, you should be doing your half time team talk!
  13. Yeah Ive never understood that. I think it's desperation to take their kids and make sure they turn into villa fans, I think I'd be the same
  14. People's interest and obsession in cars Boxing/Wrestling/UFC or anything like that
  15. Humbug! I have never been and never will be as excited as I was every Christmas morning and I am eternally thankful for my parents for that. I was about 10 when I found and wasn't too bothered because I still got presents. I'll bet a months wages you didn't have Santa growing up did you?
  16. I'm not having the best night. I was walking under the five ways island and nearly fell on the ice. I saw a gentleman, between middle aged and elderly, walking towards me. He was about to walk on the ice I nearly fell on so I thought it would be polite to warn him about it, but he just told me to **** off. Yeah, Merry Christmas everyone
  17. Some word removed I work with just showed off her real tiger skin handbag and was confused and surprised at the reaction she got. She shrugged off all criticism by saying 'well I paid £500 for it 20 years ago' and displaying how the locking system worked. Dumb shit. I was so angry, felt like booting her in the face. Defintely something that SHOULD piss you off
  18. I'm with you pal. These la di da teapot users are the main reason why this country has gone to the dogs . Thats Princess Diana to you!!! God rest her soul...
  19. Ricky Gervais is having a twitter war at the moment, with somebody who tweeted 'Thank god for killing Christopher Hitchens'. Have to laugh. Some people are on a different planet
  20. I've never seen that, that's worse than Luc Nilis
  21. 100% agree with this, I was going to say pretty much the same thing and name the same squad. We can all moan about McLeish's formation and line ups, but as you pointed out, he and his team watch all the players in training week in, week out. I'm in no way a fan of McLeish, but I think we have no choice but to back his decision on who to replace Gabby, personally. If we lose, whatever his decision will get criticised anyway, be that Bent on his own or partnered with Weimann, Delf or Heskey. Hindsight is a wonderful thing -----------------------------------Guzan------------------------------------------- Cuellar--------------Dunne--------------------Collins-----------------Warnock- Hutton---------------Herd----------------------Petrov---------------------Delph- ------------------------------------Heskey----------------------------------------- ------------------------------------Bent-------------------------------------------- this is how Mcleish will line up. He will see it as a game we cannot possibly win and go all out for a 0-0 Can you enlighten me as to why psychics such as yourself don't win the lottery every week? Is it on moral grounds, cheating and fairness and all that?
