  1. Yeah Ive never understood that. I think it's desperation to take their kids and make sure they turn into villa fans, I think I'd be the same
  2. People's interest and obsession in cars Boxing/Wrestling/UFC or anything like that
  3. Humbug! I have never been and never will be as excited as I was every Christmas morning and I am eternally thankful for my parents for that. I was about 10 when I found and wasn't too bothered because I still got presents. I'll bet a months wages you didn't have Santa growing up did you?
  4. I'm not having the best night. I was walking under the five ways island and nearly fell on the ice. I saw a gentleman, between middle aged and elderly, walking towards me. He was about to walk on the ice I nearly fell on so I thought it would be polite to warn him about it, but he just told me to **** off. Yeah, Merry Christmas everyone
  5. Some word removed I work with just showed off her real tiger skin handbag and was confused and surprised at the reaction she got. She shrugged off all criticism by saying 'well I paid £500 for it 20 years ago' and displaying how the locking system worked. Dumb shit. I was so angry, felt like booting her in the face. Defintely something that SHOULD piss you off
  6. I'm with you pal. These la di da teapot users are the main reason why this country has gone to the dogs . Thats Princess Diana to you!!! God rest her soul...
  7. Ricky Gervais is having a twitter war at the moment, with somebody who tweeted 'Thank god for killing Christopher Hitchens'. Have to laugh. Some people are on a different planet
  8. I've never seen that, that's worse than Luc Nilis
  9. 100% agree with this, I was going to say pretty much the same thing and name the same squad. We can all moan about McLeish's formation and line ups, but as you pointed out, he and his team watch all the players in training week in, week out. I'm in no way a fan of McLeish, but I think we have no choice but to back his decision on who to replace Gabby, personally. If we lose, whatever his decision will get criticised anyway, be that Bent on his own or partnered with Weimann, Delf or Heskey. Hindsight is a wonderful thing -----------------------------------Guzan------------------------------------------- Cuellar--------------Dunne--------------------Collins-----------------Warnock- Hutton---------------Herd----------------------Petrov---------------------Delph- ------------------------------------Heskey----------------------------------------- ------------------------------------Bent-------------------------------------------- this is how Mcleish will line up. He will see it as a game we cannot possibly win and go all out for a 0-0 Can you enlighten me as to why psychics such as yourself don't win the lottery every week? Is it on moral grounds, cheating and fairness and all that?
  10. That I can't remember people's names. If somebody introduces me to someone, 'oh and this is Paul', Paul has left my head immediately. For some reason my brain doesn't feel it necessary to remember their name, even though it knows I'll need to know it later. Bastard brain
  11. Do bookies take results from games played over 10 years ago into consideration then? Seems a bit strange. It doesn't really affect todays results, completely different players, managers, tactics, etc.

    Ghosts

Ah, that's what all the other millions of dead people are doing, you see. It's the mental ghosts that go round throwing ornaments. That's why they're rare, not many mentals..

    Ghosts

I was sat on the shitter once straining really hard until there was a massive 'plop'. I stood up and looked around, nothing there. It creeped me out a little, but I shrugged it off...until it came to wiping. Again, nothing there. I questioned myself, whether or not I'd dreamt the whole thing but I knew I hadn't because I could smell something shit-esque. I remain sceptical, I just put this down as something I can't explain. It still gives me the willies when I look back at it though

    Ghosts

I'm stumped. My first thought is the spirit of a dead person did it though

    Ghosts

This is the ticket for me. I once had a ghostly encounter (was actually rather scary), but it occurred in the dark, whilst I was half asleep. I later consoled myself with the fact that it was probably a result of my mind being in limbo between sleep and consciousness. As I suspect a lot of encounters are. Exactly. I've had similar experiences. About 10 times in the space of 4 months, I woke up absolutely paralysed, unable to speak, hearing music and people whispering my name in my ear. I either had to relax and go back to sleep or really force myself to wake up fully and sit up straight for a bit. I googled it and found out it's quite common. I can't remember what it's called, but it basically is just being half awake, half asleep. If I hadn't had found this out I would have been convinced it was ghosts and would have 100% believe in them. During this period I'd just got with my girlfriend and I had this the first night she stopped over. I had to wake her up in the night with a very muffled, high pitched, girly scream so she could help wake me up. Slightly embarrassing

    Ghosts

I'm going to keep on eye on this thread to see if anybody has had a ghostly experience that wasn't in the dark, hasn't just woken up or wasn't on their own
  18. I got 25 kills, 1 death the other night, my best ever score. I spent the last minute lying down behind a truck to try and get no deaths and got knifed in the back Next game 0 kills, 7 assists, 10 deaths. I've never come closer to snapping my controller
  19. I sometimes wonder if phoentic spelling, such as that, affects kids who are currently learning how to write and spell. I use 'txt speak', but I didn't grow up with it. Correct spelling and grammar was already drilled in to me (I'm double checking this paragraph after I write it ) On the 'their, there and they're' thing, I know the difference and it bugs me when I see it in the wrong context, but I've done it loads of times myself. I think it's carelessness and laziness more than anything and so on a forum such as this, or on facebook for example, it doesn't bother me too much
  20. I think we scrapped the apostrophe in Birmingham, didnt we? Aslong as you're posting from Brum you can stick them where you want. Le'ts g'o w'ild!
  21. Somehow, your explanation marks make it sound less cheeky and more sinister
  22. Waving goodbye and she's not even dry
