Congratulations mate! I'm proposing in New York on new year. I've spent the last two months looking and pricing up different rings and diamonds, it's so much more complicated than I realised. You can't just walk in and go 'that one', like I do with all my other purchases I still haven't got it yet, but it's been ordered. It must feel good to finally get your hands on it. Just have to hope she says yes now :winkold:
  2. That's terrible! Haven't your colleagues demanded to know what's going on first?
  3. I would love to see that, but it would mean N'Zogbia being dropped for the third time (I think). Not a problem really, but I think he's be making a little progress every time he plays personally To make this post on topic, Bannan over Heskey any day
  4. There's rumours flying round on twitter that the sun were about to 'expose' Gary as being gay. Only rumours, but if true the sun should be absolutely ashamed
  5. After 6 years of browsing this site and nearly 4 of posting (rarely), I've just got round to making an avatar and I'm really proud of it, probably happier than I should be. I went through all the threads just looking for something to say to show it off but just ended up in here. Saturday night eh? Rock on
  6. there's a reason for that i.e. he's not good enough Whereas Ethan Moore was good enough but never got a chance? Round and round in circles
  7. For a few decent stocking fillers, play.com have about 4,500 items at £5 each
  8. Someone elses washing up, chicken or door?
  9. I laughed and then felt bad and then didn't quite know how to feel. It's at times like this I think the 'neutral' emoticon was made for :| Glad he's better anyway!
  10. Baby sitting my 2 month nephew for a few hours tonight for the first time. Should be...interesting. Working overtime saturday morning, then MW3 for the rest of the day until the girlfriend needs the TV for x factor Sunday, gym and swim then watching the villa in the pub getting happy I hope. Then drunk MW3 later. That's never good
  11. Winter. Everybody hates it but I love it! I love wrapping up warm when out and getting home, and getting all cosy when it's cold outside with a mug of hot chocolate. I love snow (apart from the traffic it causes) and I love the time building up to Christmas and new year. It's great! Loads better than boring spring and yawnfest Autumn. I think I'd hate to live in a country where it was hot all year round
  12. Not having much luck at the moment are ya pal? Go for a health check.. :winkold:
  13. Seems like everyone's got pretty bored with this with how little it's being talked about. FM usually keeps me busy until about February, but I've really lost interest and I don't know why. Probably because of MW3
  14. I can't even begin to imagine how people feel when they lose a loved one in these kind of circumstances, but I've often wondered how much of a difference it makes to them when those responsible are convicted and justice is served. You often see people on the news saying how they can now have some kind of closure and begin to grieve properly, but I can't imagine I would even begin to feel 0.0001% better. Hopefully I never have to find out. Unfortunately, I very much doubt the bastards that did this will ever caught. My dad had just started college when the bombings happened. He said a kid came in the next day with a plaster on his eyebrow claiming he had been drinking in the Mullberry Bush when it went off. I giggled when he told me, which I don't think my dad was happy about. It's just I know exactly the kind of dickhead who would do that. There was a guy at our school you used to bop about and claimed it was because he had been in a bank raid and someone had shot a sawn off shotgun at his knee. He showed us a scar the size of a pinhead
  15. What is it you look for when watching youth players?
  16. saw him last night in the nextgen, thought he was awful bar the goals Is this the first/only time you have seen him play? Or have you seen him a number of times? yes first time, wasn't impressed I don't know whether to laugh or cry. My face does something my brain doesn't understand when reading this tripe
  17. I **** hate Penguins, I got bit by one once whilst trying to stroke one on the head and I've never forgiven them for it Didn't Spiderman get bitten by a spider? That's really tickled me
  18. ----------------Given---------------- Cuellar---Dunne--Clark---Warnock ----------------Herd------------------ --------Petrov-------Jenas----------- N'Zog-------------------------Gabby ---------------Bent------------------- So all of us agree Collins should be dropped, let's not hold our breaths waiting for that to happen. I'll be dissapointed if we don't win this. If we don't I think we're set for a place in the relegation zone as we welcome in 2012. Although Randy opened his cheque book when we were in a relegation battle last January. Hmmm, is the fixture list a blessing in disguise..?
  19. Every now and then I have a little wonder to smallheathalliance.com for a chuckle. They're fantasising about us going bust. Cringeworthy "I want them to go bust. Then our fanbase massively increases, as does our income, and we buy their ground and training facilities. Also, we would get a lot more young players. It would benefit us massively if they went bust." "id like to have a piss on them just as they are gasping for breath. horrible arrogant fecking club. its alwas been my dream to shot a bazooka at four sheds from the express way." Bless 'em
  20. Veggies at work moaning about there not being enough choice for them on the christmas menu at the party this year. There's only one option for each course but I think that's more than enough. I really do have a lot of respect for Vegetarians, but surely not having a lot of choice on menus and having to 'plan' your meals is part and parcel of being a veggie Maybe I'm wrong, I usually am :notsure:
  21. After seeing this thread, I've spent the whole morning reading about the bombings having not really known much about it before. I was shocked to read that a bomb that didn't detonate was planted on the Hagley Road, literally outside my work I've just been reading this account of one of the fire fighters that night http://birmingham999.co.uk/ (...erm...it's a pretty short link anyway..) I always find it heart warming how people pull together and help each other out in situations like this, putting their own safety at risk. I also find comfort in the fact good people far outweigh the amount of evil people on this planet
