  1. as everyone seemed to enjoy the spider throwback I thought I'd find out the whole thing Can_I_Have_My_Spider_Back.pdf (spiceworks.com)
  2. A lad started at my place just a few moths ago, for some reason they decided that I had to mentor him, first thing I said was ask him how often he's willing to go into the office because I'm not doing it over Teams. Luckily he lives local as well so 4 or 5 days a week for the first month I was in the office from 9 till 2, its so much more beneficial than trying to teach someone how to do shit over a video call
  3. My place a really good about WFH, they say that they want everyone in twice a week but nearly everyone just does 1 day and no one seems to care. I go in 3 or 4 times a week and take a 2pm lunch and then do 3 till 5 at home, I'm lucky that I am only 20 minutes away from the office so I can jump a bus and get back with no problems, that's why I tend to go in more often so that no one can say anything about the amount of time that I am going in for because all in all I spend more time there than most, I just **** hate coming home at 5pm. I'll get home at 2:18pm, my mate finishes at 5 and often doesn't get home until nearly 7pm, he hates me for it but its his own fault for living somewhere stupid ain't it.
  4. I didn't even know there was a series of The Equalizer, just had a look and they are completely seperate things so there won't be any Queen Latifah and Denzel crossovers (thankfully)
  5. Watched this earlier in the week, and while its been absolutely ages since I've seen the first two I think I'm right in saying that this is a bit more of a slow burn to start off with, it was necessary though to build the world, I really enjoyed it. I don't think we'll be getting any more of them though, after 30 years of looking like he was in his 30's, father time has caught up with Denzel and he's finally looking old.
  6. well done, I've just mentioned this to my old man, he didn't know about it, I'm now going to have him asking me on a daily basis "you've never watched Billions have you, you should its brilliant," every single fooking day I'll get that until he's finished the series. I've not watched it and I doubt that I ever will now.
  7. Agreed on all of that, my only complaint is that it felt a little rushed, it would have been so much better if they fleshed out certain parts and made it 8 or even 10 episodes, I think that would have been more than warranted, especially considering it was the final series.
  8. I only use subtitles when I'm watching something I've seen 100 times before and I'm playing my guitar while its on. With foreign films or series though I can't watch the English dubs, especially with Korean or Japanese stuff, it has to be in the original language with subs for that shit
  9. don't worry, I purposely didn't say any more than that, let me know once you have watched it, I'll be interested to know if anyone actually enjoys it.
  10. I haven't had Netflix for ages, I sponged off me Mom n Dads profile but that's been blocked now, I use my IPTV for 99% of the shit that I watch, I had to get Netflix for Ragnarok though because my IPTV didn't have it with the original voicetrack and subtitles, literally signed up and cancelled on the same day.
  11. Top Boy season 5 has just dropped on Netflix, I'll be binge watching the **** out of that, just started the first episode. Regardless of what happens in the finale it can't be any worse than that absolute trash ending to Ragnarok
  12. Agreed but GGG vacated the belts because he can't be arsed with the mandatory fights and only wants the most lucrative ones available now so Eubank will have to cough up some big money to get that one. Still makes him sound like a plank by calling him out for belts he doesn't even hold though.
  13. Thought Smith took the loss quite well then, didn't make any excuses, interviewer had to press him to mention the ankle, fair play to him. Eubank calling out GGG and saying that he's been holding onto them belts for too long.....eeerrrrrrrrmmm Chris, buddy, I'm pretty sure that GGG doesn't hold any belts at the moment, unless its me that's confused
  14. I hope that they have a quick word with kalle sauerland, I wonder how much gear he's shovelled up his nose throughout the night
  15. Its only took them 7 rounds to pick up on the ankle that he turned in the first round No excuse though, Smith has been soundly beat here, he'll do well to see the fight out but the ref will be looking to stop this before the 12th
  16. Allen was a likeable character who lacked talent, Eddie Hearn continuously threw him to the wolves because his popularity would sell a few more PPV's with him on the undercard. He had absolutely no right being in the ring with people like David Price let alone Dillian White and Luis Ortiz. Eddie Hearn should be ashamed of himself for some of the beatings he put on that kid. At the same time though, if Allen is to be believed he's invested all the money and protected his kids futures quite nicely.
  17. Apart from Keinan Davis, just one more season and he would have come good, I'm sure of it
  18. I didn't know who any of these players were apart from Tielemans, now I feel like they are all my best pals
  19. Shall I make the obligatory "I'm glad they circled it otherwise I never would have got the joke" joke or does somebody else wanna do it?
  20. This, 100% this, I haven't had a season ticket for the last few years but the last time that I did have one it got to the point when I wouldn't celebrate a goal whenever it was scored, I wouldn't look at the players, I wouldn't soak up the athmosphere, I'd be looking at the referee or the linesman, and then after a 4 minute deliberation the crowd would cheer and I'd think..."oh well, that was a good goal that was scored 5 minutes ago" and all excitement has gone. Without VAR you get a goal you jump up and down and you scream and the goal its a goal, every now and again after a minute someone in the crowd spots that the flag is up and all of a sudden that moment of euphoria turns to anger, rightly or wrongly, the game starts again and you get on with it. With VAR you get a goal, you have 10 seconds of excitement then you look at the ref, VAR is checking for something, you have no idea what they are checking but you know that something is up, they keep checking, keep checking, keep checking....5 minutes later goal is given, well....I guess we should celebrate then Even when it says VAR checking possible offside and it takes 30 seconds, its enough to get rid of the excitement of the goal for me.
  21. well, scrap that, I'm staying where I am. my current company made me an offer to try and keep me, I turned it down and they've come back with another offer and I've accepted it, its not as much as what the new company were offering but as I'd said in my last post, they are a good company and it was purely about the money, I'm pretty happy here and they've done what they can to keep me and if all goes well I'll shortly be picking up an extra 4.5k a year with a 6% annual bonus (or the bonus is usually around 6% anyways)
